Trans-Zion Trek. An ideal rebound from my PCT relationship: intense, brief, little commitment, and GORGEOUS.
This winter was a struggle. Particularly dreary Portland weather and the current political climate have not helped.
I have been down, spending the past several months breaking plans with friends, dodging calls from family, watching countless hours of Netflix, all the while sinking into a pathetic cellulite-producing mess on my couch.
I have been feeling sorry for myself. Missing an adventure that was and grieving a relationship that no longer is.
This week was much needed. The sun, endorphin-releasing exercise, healthy solitude, vistas of Zion Canyon, and quality time with my former trail-mates, Animal Style and Capi, have helped me reach a turning point.
At the New Year I made a goal to spend at least a few days sleeping under the stars each month through the Fall, starting with this trip.
Closer I am to fine.
I've never been a fan of SPF lip products. Usually thick and turn your lips white. However this little tube has been my savior in the Utah sun this weekend. It goes on smooth and smells like coconut! Get yours before summer is in full swing. 🌺🌴🌞
We met up with Simone and her two littles for a Mother's Day shoot while we were in St. George! Brock & I could immediately see the positive light that Simone radiates! She is so relatable and down to earth. As a mother, she cares very deeply for her children. It was very evident that she is willing to do anything to ensure their happiness, which is admirable. Simone is also totally hip and goes with the flow! We're so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with this family.😊
