"The only way to do great work is to LOVE what you do. If you haven't found it yet, don't settle! Keep looking!" - Steve Jobs *
Today I was fortunate enough to be invited to be apart of the annual year end fashion show and recruitment event for George Browns Fashion program! What a fantastic experience being able to meet graduates of the class, as well as hear about what they are passionate about, where they thought they wanted to go and where they see them selves going in the future.
It was great to get out of my comfort zone, as I'm actually super socially awkward, to perhaps influence these new graduates to possibly venture into the world of Visual Merchandising. My passion for the past 20 years!
Good luck to the graduating class of 2017! Find your passion and make it work for you! #xoxo#lovewhatido#visualmerchandising#notjustmakingstoreslookpretty#hardwork#rewarding#12storesandcounting#creative#treads2017#dvm for #yyz and #yow#2017 @george_brown_college

If you see a fire truck beside a burnijg house you would not think that the fire truck started the fire. Surely the fire truck is a signal that a fire haf started....this is exactly the type of confusion which is taking place when we sometimes think of lactic acid.
The significance of understanding how lactic acid os produced has large return on fat loss and performance and just your general energy levels.
You often here lactic acid is a waste product but lacticr acid is simply a signal in your cells which happens when lactate build up is detected by the nervous system. The pain you may feel when you feel "the burn" is not from the lactic acid. It is simply a response created by the brain to protect against intensities that the body associates with danger of damage to the cells. lacate is shuttled theough the blood from one muscle to the next for the purpose of continuing exercise.when lactate builds up in a give tissue it starts reacting with the acidic hydrogen ions to make lactic acid.
Trainining using circuit training and interval training trains the body to shuttle lactate from one tissue to another and prevents its build up and setting off the pain pathways which would otherwise cause you to stop.
Fat metabolism is improved using lactate training.
After many requests, it was finally time.
