The places where I study remain the same even many years removed, but what I'm taking away from the material has vastly shifted my point of view. 
No longer am I seeking the answers from outside but am diving deep with inquiry. Starting from that old stuckness; that past muck, and viewing it for what it is. Seeing it, saying hello AND goodbye to it and opening my heart to what's new, what's present. 
I'm not saying that I'm not scared. That definitely still happens. I still find my heart racing, palms sweating or stumbling over words from time to time. I am, however, saying that I will not allow that fear to force me out of the room. I will stay. I may stumble, I may not but I'm giving myself the chance to find out. .

To protect your sacrum and coccyx always sit on a blanket or two in boat and stretch of the west pose. Only go as far into the pose as your spine allows, maintaining the Cervical(neck), Thoracic(ribs/upper back ), Lumbar(core/lower back), Sacral(pelvis), and Coccyx(tailbone) regions of the spine. If you're still on the pathway to touching your toes, a strap can be used around the ball of your foot in both poses. No biggity diggity if you're not there just yet! 🙏💪🏽💪🏽Also, shoutout to my yogi master Deep @yogadeep for being just as enthusiastic as me and reminding us everyday that life is meant to be juicy, happy, dedicated, full of dancing, laughter, and community. Happy Monday Loves! So excited to announce a journey of exploration onto a different branch of yoga! I'm almost finished with my 200 hr Power Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training @thespokaneyogashala AND on the side have begun shifting into my own personal yogance practice ; a mix of dancing and rhythmic movements with the flow and asanas of my yoga practice. The first time I was introduced to yoga when I was a teenager I fell in love, but I never stuck with it, or anything for that matter, for very long. Always on to the next thing. Searching, seeking outside myself. .
It's amazing to me now that I ended up back here. Just fresh out of my first 200 hour YTT with a completely new perspective & understanding of the journey I've been on & such a feeling of peace that I'm exactly where I need to be & in the right time. .
I used to, up until very recently, always be searching outside myself for validation, recognition & a sense of self worth...through achievement, perfectionism, over working, over doing...never feeling satisfied or settled & often ending up in a pattern of self sabotage & having to start again, try again "to get it right" this time. .
I've finally come to understand that everything I need, I already have, within me. It is the journey back to myself, not away from myself, outside myself, in spite of myself. It's coming home & embracing my own inner guru. My highest self. She lives within me. Quieting my mind. Practicing meditation & stillness has allowed me to feel her presence & know that if I continue to open that channel she will come out of hiding. 
Yoga has given me this gift to know, that it's not out there. It's within me. It starts with an unconditional love for myself, compassion, acceptance & trust. The light inside will begin to shine & then you can take that light & share it with the world.

This YTT is different from what I expected : I was sick in Paris, coughed a lot then cracked my rib. I hoped it would be fixed before arriving but it seems the universe had another plan .
I can't do my favorites postures,can't work on what I wanted to and pranayama are not easy

My ego and I cried a lot

Then some little angels dropped new seeds inside me ( @sallyrubin was right: what a better place than a yogi place to be injured: surrounded by positifs and kind souls, everything seems suddenly lighter) .
.
I started to develop new awareness .......... and what a journey 🙂
.
.
I'm discovering new layers on my body. I surprise myself doing things i thought painful simply by bringing awareness and subtlety in every small movement
.
.
And at the end of day I realize I actually welcomed new colors in my thoughts, mind and heart .
.
Still challenging for the ego ..................... but well done, universe 🙏 .

You know what they say - if you need something done, ask a busy person to do it. I managed to surprise myself on what I knew for the final. 🙃YTT DIARIES - episode 15 🙃
🌱Day off 🌱 
I spent this day with revising anatomy and posture alignment - I was on this roof all morning and afternoon (ok, maybe I burned my skin again 😏some people take time to learn from their mistakes 🤣). As much as I love the people here, one full day alone, spent productively, in nature, (with cows 🐮❤), does make me feel more alive 🍃🌿🍂
In the afternoon I had a little play around with some inversions, and this accomplishment was my favourite - I could never lift up to crow after tripod headstand without falling back immediately 💪🏻 I guess my body already started feeling that I'm working more and with better breathing and alignment 💪🏻

I had a great chat with my teacher's wife, who's also a yoga teacher and she also teaches accupressure and I became even more amazed by the human body. I'm considering doing one of her trainings as soon as I can afford it (also it's in Malaysia so after going back to the UK now, the sunshine will be one of the biggest motivations for me to return to Asia 🌏)

Before bed we had a mantra chanting session which was lovely! Our guru plays the harmonium and he has a gorgeous voice! Some were singing along, some were dancing, some were just enjoying - we all did what we felt like doing. I'll miss these times ❤

As much as I love the people here, one full day alone, spent productively, in nature, (with cows 🐮❤), does make me feel more alive 🍃🌿🍂 In the afternoon I had a little play around with some inversions, and this accomplishment was my favourite - I could never lift up to crow after tripod headstand without falling back immediately 💪🏻 I guess my body already started feeling that I'm working more and with better breathing and alignment 💪🏻 . I had a great chat with my teacher's wife, who's also a yoga teacher and she also teaches accupressure and I became even more amazed by the human body. I'm considering doing one of her trainings as soon as I can afford it (also it's in Malaysia so after going back to the UK now, the sunshine will be one of the biggest motivations for me to return to Asia 🌏) . Before bed we had a mantra chanting session which was lovely! Our guru plays the harmonium and he has a gorgeous voice! Some were singing along, some were dancing, some were just enjoying - we all did what we felt like doing. I'll miss these times ❤ .
