🔲Square breathing technique🔲: This technique can be used to draw the focus inward at the beginning of meditation or simply as a small breathing exercise at anytime of the day when you feel you could use a brief mental holiday. Close your eyes and visually begin to image a square, inhale as you visualize the top line, exhale running your focus down the right wall of the square, inhale following the bottom line and exhale following the left line back to the top. Eventually a small pause can be added to each corner of the square - if you wish. Remember, take it slow and practice returning to the square visualization each time thoughts intrude on your focus.
I've sick with a terrible viral infection in my stomach..very high fever n pains n aches all over my body exaggerated by my fibro condition since yesterday but I hate surrendering so I did some simple stretching n headstands to clear my head n help me refocus coz I don't have any energy or stamina to do a flow ..

Amidst Matt completing 800 hours of bodywork studies and my 200 hour YTT coming to its end, I sit with the realization that these are just small, although very important, steps towards our vision. Discovering new challenges and making difficult or uncomfortable decisions as we move forward, -there is inevitable growth in facing the unknown, working past our fears/anxieties, and acknowledging there will be more to come, as there are many beginnings and endings to experience in a lifetime.
As my journey continues to its next step, I have been gifted the opportunity to be a part of North Port Yoga's summer schedule, teaching the Thursday and Saturday morning community classes beginning this April.
Its so surreal to see my name on the schedule to TEACH yoga, something that has been a pillar in my own personal and spiritual growth these past couple of years.
