Welcome to Day 2 of #SpringSymmetry 🌼 Our pose is #garudasana or #eaglepose & I went with a tip toe, bowing variation. Go for any variation you like - just make sure you drive yourself crazy trying to make it look as symmetrical as possible! 😂 Why is it so hard to get arms doing the same thing? Add the balancing factor to the mix & this was almost a recipe for yoga rage! But, of course I channeled my inner Zen & refrained from throwing my phone out the window 👍 I ended up taking like a gazillion shots only to use one of the first ones I'd taken 🙄 Looks like everyone is surviving the OCD inducing madness so far! Beautiful symmetrical shots all over the gallery! 😊

Let me tell you a story about my practice today. It was full of mood swings.
I did the first of four @hiittoinvert workouts of the week and felt really good afterwards.
Then I did all the stretches and felt even better seeing that I've been off my mat for 3 days.
Then I tried a bunch of arm balances for the #allboutthearmbalances challenge and got so annoyed with myself (I'll post a video). After a while I decided to call it quits and try again the next time.
Then I did my some headstand pike presses and my pincha practice and got a few short holds and I thought maybe this practice wasn't that bad at all. Until I wanted to watch at the video just to find out my phone stopped recording after the headstands. Which obviously got me so so angry and annoyed again.
After debating with myself I decided to do pincha again so that I could upload it and maybe hold it for another 1-2 seconds.
And then THIS happened. And this obviously made up for it all. I tried it a second time just to prove myself I didn't just got lucky.
So now I'm very happy, sitting on my couch, watching supernatural 😍

What a freaking beautiful day. ☀️☀️ Took a few days off of work and I'm so sooo glad. Worked out first thing this morning, went out to breakfast, ran some errands, and took Marcus for a walk all while everyone else was working. MONDAY. What better way to start the week than here ☀️
Yesterday I did a 30 class on foam rollers, easing out tired muscles and tight fascia. Followed by a 90 minute Yin and Pranayama class. I can tell you it's a great combination- I slept deep deep deep.
This morning I went to Smartflow with Tiffany Russo. Ultra precise, clear anatomy cues and some seriously hardcore work on strengthening the hamstrings.
The learning never ends #teachlearn .
Day 3 Wheelpose, can't lift one leg, I'm just lifting up my foot a tiny bit more on one side. 😆

Sometimes (often) this teeny, country village feels 'boring' and too secluded but actually, when I stop and take a moment to appreciate this place, it's BEYOND beautiful, and peaceful and truly is like living in a fairytale land 😍
#MondayMobility - once again My Little Yogi assistant is back at it. I swear he's gonna be a yoga instructor some day.
