flowin' into friday like 🌞 spent the day poolside in the sunshine after an awesome hot yoga practice this morning 💦🙏🏼 feeling nice & toasty and like my tan is slowly setting in ☺ I think it's pretty safe to say I'm never gonna get sick of this florida weather 🌴 (and I'm totally gonna be a wimp back in VA)
Day4 #animal 🐒asanas. I thought this would be quite tricky to balance but it was ok. I even tried to lift the back foot. Then I tried to go full lotus and that was obviously a fail 😂.

A 2-hour workshop combining Trigger Point Massage with yoga practice with Mark DeWhitt, ERYT, CMT 💛

Trigger Points in muscle tissue may restrict your movement. They also create predictable pain referral patterns to seemingly unrelated areas of the body. For instance, some back pain refers from a trigger point in your calf muscle. WHO KNEW?!
In this workshop you’ll learn how to:
prevent / manage common pain and stiffness by pinpointing potential underlying causes
identify target muscles
apply self-massage safely and effectively
use trigger point release work to advance your personal yoga practice

last night I finally went to @mndflmeditation studio for the first time and took a sound focused class (with calming sounds as the object of meditation) 🎶🎺 Normally I meditate with the app @headspace (with my bestie Andayyyy) at home in the mornings before work (for 10 minutes) but lately have been so busy 🐝 that I've been doing it on my commute instead. Being at @mndflmeditation made me realize how important it is to set aside some time to meditate in peace & quiet to get the real benefits. Today I prioritized leaving the gym a little earlier and leaving for work a little later to put meditation, a lexsential to my overall wellness, first 🙏🏼 Blog post studio review to come 🌱
Last month, I broke my jade bangle into 4 bits - "四分五裂" they said, and i had to "bury" it forever 😿 and have been trying to find something else to replace it ever since. #Yogis5thElement 💧March 23: Water + Mermaid
Water washes over me:) As the sky turned from blue to gray, I knew we would be getting wet soon. And here comes the rain again! Still not going to rain on my parade! Water is such an important part of life. Even if I was finding shelter from the ☔️ I still enjoy the benefits! I attempted to Mermaid myself! 😂 wow I'm so unbendy but a work in progress. Watering my Yoga practice with a little challenge and push from #Yogis5thElement enjoy every moment. Don't let the weathers of life get you stuck, enjoy the changes and go with the flow!
