•• || Self-love is the foundation for everything we desire... health, happiness, and success etc.
Try to make it a daily habit to dedicate a few minutes of your day to check in with yourself and recognize how you're feeling, or what it is you're going through, and what you're doing to take care of you! Your life is your story.

Many have asked how I decided on my #YTT and which I would recommend. As I've only done one, I can only speak about the one that I've experienced and share how I decided on @dylanwerner 's YTT..
Firstly, don't do a YTT because everyone is doing one. Do it because you want to. The main reason why I wanted to do one, was to elevate my understanding about Yoga as a whole - not just asanas i.e. physical practice of yoga. I've been thinking about this for over a year! IMHO, if you aren't ready to learn more about what encompasses Yoga, the Eight Limbs of yoga - meditation, breath control, the philosophy behind it etc, perhaps, workshops will be more suitable to level up your practice. YTT was very much a spiritual and growth journey for me and I kept an open mind before diving into it..
Find a teacher whom you respect, am familiar with his/her's style and practice as that will eventually be your style of yoga. Don't choose to learn from someone whom you cannot respect or accept the methods and style.
Decide what sort of yoga practice you wish to go deeper into - asthanga, Hatha, Iyengar etc. There are over 20 different types of Yoga. The philosophies are the same but the physical practice differs. Determine a budget, duration you can afford to commit to, location etc and do your research. Look at what the schedule entails. Some focus more on asanas, some on philosophies and some on aspects of Yoga..
Why did I choose Dylan's YTT? I've been training using his @codyapp programs before meeting him in person. I've attended many of his workshops over the last 2 years and can relate to his methods of teaching, style and focus. He's a personal friend of mine and I respect him as a person, teacher and his approach towards the practice. I knew that his YTT wasn't going to be easy but I was prepared for it. Dylan doesn't make it easy and he throws challenges at you all the time. I was committed to being opened to that. Dylan doesn't say do Pincha with your forearms parallel to each other because that's how it should be done. He teaches why something should be done a certain way and encourages us to keep questioning. (Continue in comments ⬇️⬇️
Warrior 2 at the @omyogashow at the weekend....such a fun time on the @fringe.yoga / @yogassential stall. Met some amazing people and am so excited to be moving back home in a few weeks after 14 years down south. Wearing the gorgeous @yogaclicks #downwarddogbillionaire tee - the book is amazing and the perfect summer read. I definitely recommend 👌🏼🙏🏻❤️
The Hong Kong Central Mid Way escalator is the longest outdoor escalator in the world... it covers 800 metres, along it you will find restaurants, shops, bars and supermarkets.... my fave part of Honkers!
~Just do it~
I have found from my experience that there really aren't good or bad days when it comes to training.
Anytime I can show up & find the moment means I'm winning. With this mindset I don't miss practices & I generally always end up feeling better after than when I began. A few years back I couldn't walk a line, handstand, planche, flip or any of these physical feats.
What led me to today was a willingness to show up and remain open to learning. When I'm open to learning something new I grow. The rest is just practice 💡

As this new SUPERMOON begins her journey, she starts in the sign of Gemini. Gemini is the sign of the twins, and not only is this a sign to reflect upon ourselves, but this is also a time to start seeing ourself in others. Do you treat others the way that you would want to be treated? Alternatively, do you show up 100% authentically and true the way you would want others to do to you? Instead of "faking it until you make it," maybe it's time to let your guard down and let your true vulnerability show. .
We all want to be our best, but the truth is we're human and sometimes we fall off track. Rather than beat yourself up about where you aren't yet, set yourself some small, realistic goals and celebrate your little wins along the way. Overtime these will turn into big steps towards achieving your lifetime dream.
Take some time this moonday or over the next few days to slow down and honor yourself. Reflect on how far you've come and be grateful. Believe in yourself and your journey ahead. It all starts with how you show up right now.
“Be Strong, be fearless, be beautiful. And believe that anything is possible when you have the right people there to support you.” ⠀⠀ Having a powerful support system while chasing your dreams is everything! We can be strong, beautiful & we can definitely be fearless; but we can be so much more when we have the right people by our side cheering & encouraging us in life. Yoga is my passion, my love & I hope one day soon.. that it will become a career for me. I know it’s a long road of emotions ahead of me, including doubt & fright but I have one of the strongest support systems pushing me forward and not allowing me to give up on myself. It’s a blessing to have family and friends supporting you and your dreams! #yovadalife#yovadatakeover

#lizardpose for day 4 of #summerselflove
Today was a proper summer day in England (believe me that doesn't happen that often 😅) ☀️☀️☀️
@martina__rando @martina_sergi @seonia @rebekahletch .
Day 3 pose for the #MiddleSplitsinMay#yogachallenge is #goddesspose aka #utkatakonasana . I can never get enough of plies, in relevé is even better. So good to open up the hips and strengthen the quads, inner thighs, calves and glutes. On another note, if you didn't know what this was it kind of looks like a funny way of searching the floor for a lost contact lens. Ha!.
