Let's get real for a moment and talk about our fears.
For me, I was always afraid of drop backs. I didn't care if it was sand, or grass, or another soft surface beneath me, I was always afraid do it without someone guiding me through.
This is not uncommon. As humans, one of our primitive instincts is to avoid injury or death. Dropping back into Urdhva Dhanurasana in this manner exposes all of our most vital organs to any potential predators.
Not to mention, falling on your head would hurt like hell!
So how did I overcome this fear? I simply just went for it. After MANY rounds of practicing with someone guiding me through, I finally just decided that there was nothing left to do except go for it. And guess what? I didn't die! Or fall on my head...yet. There's still a chance I'm sure. But now I practice nearly every day because as it turns out, I actually really enjoy them.
Still a work-in-progress, but now it's just a matter of #practiceandalliscoming

Take a run trip to my yoga. Run down at the water an early morning silence and just hear my own footsteps. Then two lovely classes. A nice and soft start to the day. Afterwards I take my Chiapudding that I prepared yesterday.
