Day 2 of #strong4thesummer challenge. This pose has a nice deep stretch effect if it's done properly. I have to admit that it's not very often in my routines, shame on me coz it really activates thigh muscles. I'll try to squeeze it in flows sometimes! 🐳

Сколько раз в неделю лучше всего заниматься йогой
Все зависит от того, какие цели вы перед собой ставите.
Если вы хотите уверенно и регулярной практики со стабильным ростом – это два раза в неделю.
Два раза в неделю и больше – это реальный рост. 3-5 раз в неделю – и через месяц вы себя не узнаете, вы уже не будете на начальном уровне никогда. Как будто два вперед один назад, еще два вперед один назад. Да небольшие откаты будут, но в целом динамика хорошая. Самое важное периодически заниматься с преподавателем, не застревать на своем. Если вы 10 лет делаете одно и то же, скорее всего 9 из них роста нет. Важно продолжать двигаться дальше, затем опять и опять, вылезать из своего комфорта и удобства.
Если вы занимаетесь меньше двух раз в неделю, то роста не происходит, вы всегда на том же уровне. Вы пришли позанимались один раз – сделали один шаг вперед, неделю не занимались – это шаг назад. Да, небольшой прогресс будет, какие-то асаны будут лучше получаться, уму будет казаться, что вам теперь все гораздо легче, конечно все понятнее становится, вы больше знаете слов и асан, больше опыт ума. Если есть большие перерывы, то понятно, что шаг вперед два назад.
Самый быстрый результат два раза в неделю индивидуально + один раз в неделю в группе + два -три раза дома в перерывы. Дальше зависит от задач, которые стоят перед вами. Кому-то шпагат, кому-то просветление, и у всех по-разному это занимает время.
Я занимаюсь от одно до трех раз в день и мне нормально.)) И, конечно, если я не занимаюсь йогой или активным спортом несколько дней у меня с непривычки начинается депрессивное состояние, тело вялое. Уже настолько привыкло тело к нагрузкам, к тому чтобы быть всегда в тонусе, что без этого как будто кости начинают деревенеть (если вы знаете о чем я). Конечно, у всех по-разному, кто-то деревенеет через неделю, кто-то через две.

So I know yesterday was international yoga day but I never actually spoke about how I came to this practice and why I stayed this long with it. About 3 years ago (it'll technically be 3 years by the very end of July), I started a physical practice solely for the pure sake of doing a scorpion handstand. I didn't care about much else. I then started checking out and seeing other postures; I got fascinated and wanted to just try to do everything. I didn't come to this practice from too bad a place. You may hear about many Yogis coming from a place of being lost and/or stuck in vicious cycles, sometimes ones involving drugs or alcohol. That wasn't necessarily me. I was just your regular old gym going college kid. Aside from keeping my grades up in school, all I really cared about was looking good, having fun, expanding my physical horizons and living my life to a healthy fullest. So when it came to doing these poses, I was cocky and thought I would've been able to do them all in an unreasonable amount of time. And then I'd just move on after "achieving" them. Over the course of me practicing it started off very empty as you can imagine. I thought what mattered most was looking pretty in these poses and having these cool pictures or whatever. Never cared about the technical understanding. Once I did my research on the poses more I then started practicing more properly and mindfully. Then I looked into the philosophical values of practice and what the teachers I'm following on IG were talking about. I started meditating more. And although I felt unsure and uncertain when it came to diving into myself in meditation, feeling out my spirit became easier over time. Seeing that this practice would continuously teach me, I just stuck with it. And now I love learning about myself, keeping in touch with my breath and being as still as I can. And I feel more like my real self each day. And what I discover won't always be the same old thing. Practice became more a part of living my life. And well... here I am. ✌🏽❤️ #Anjaneyasana

La postura de hoy es bien difícil la verdad 😅 pero no imposible ni tampoco importa si no la logras completa 👉🏼 aqui un grupo de alumnas de @yoga_al_mar_chile 🌊 Era la primera vez que hacían esta postura y miren como les salió! No mal verdad? Lo importante es tener una buena preparación. Elongar insquiotibiales con un krama hecho para eso, al menos unas 4 posturas por lado (hemisferio derecho e izquierdo) y luego buscas esta postura >>> desde el suelo tomas tu pierna derecha y con la rodilla flectada te la pones sobre el hombro derecho como si fuera una 🎒 apretas fuerte con tu abductor derecho ese brazo, y desde ahí pones tu pie izquierdo sobre el derecho y "estrangulas" tu brazo derecho. One of the biggest challenges that women usually have to face when they start doing yoga is the strength of their arms to hold their own weight. I have improved but I still have much to improve. But as Srila Guru Maharas (spiritual master) says, the goals are achieved in measure of the love you put to achieve them. Love and respect for your own process. It is an individual process, but it shines outdoors, since LOVE is learned by LOVING, protect is learning by PROTECTING. Happy day!

What is it that you want from this life?

For me fuck yes I want money, I want financial stability in my life so badly, but more importantly, more than anything I want experiences that will add value to my life. I want more connections that are genuine, deep, and true, people that will blow my mind wide open.

🎶The classical pilates exercise - Climb-a-Tree 🌳is performed on the short box but it is often advisable to to learn doing it on the long Box, which offers more support base. ▪️The abdominals remain activated throughout the exercise which allows for better control of the back extensors and to avoid relying on the leg to pull back up ✖️ 🎥 Initiate with three pumping actions of the thigh to the chest and then engage through the back extensors and deep abdominals as you lengthen the hamstring, extending the leg ▪️Walk hands down the leg, lowering the trunk into mid and upper back extension, circling the arms ▪️return to trunk flexion placing the hands back on the leg, climbing up the 🌳😊 extending the spine at the end and repeat. ----- I would like to dedicate this post to an amazing pilates instructor @mindi_bee 💫

can't believe I'm a day late... but HAPPY INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY! This is exactly why I love yoga so much. Some people take it so seriously but honestly there's nothing better than hearing someone giggle in the middle class. Sometimes it causes a wave of laughs and it reminds me that I'm on my mat to feel the beautiful moment I'm currently in, not to lose weight or to be flexible. What would be the point of yoga if you could flow through your poses perfectly with no flaws?? Yoga is falling and laughing and having a great time with great people and so much more! I know I post some crazy yoga poses, but in all honesty, this video shows exactly what most of those photoshoots look like. And I couldn't love it more ❤️ @dimarc0
