I somehow managed to shoot 6 rolls of Portra 400 film whilst in Santorini... but what's a girl to do when the scenery is this beautiful! The love affair that I'm having with film is becoming more and more all encompassing, and yes, it's proving to be more and more expensive at the same time. But sometimes you've got to follow your heart, right?
I'll be putting a blog post together with all the images from our trip and sharing it with you very soon :) Till then, stay tuned for a couple sneak peeks!
Here is a classic "Blue Blob" as @tom_lake88 have dubbed them.
Sundays in Santa Barbara.
I took this pic with my mavic pro. I am amazed how it gives me the opportunity on a new perspective on landscapes. This really emphasizes the beauty of that coastline north of Los Angeles
The Royal Pavilion at Brighton with its unique architecture of Indian style buildings is an ideal starting point to explore #brighton The inside decor with its Chinese influence is in total contrast and is well worth seeing.
Bali has been such a liberating experience. Traveling across the world alone, getting more in tune with myself and meeting incredible people, it was a real "Eat, Pray, Love" moment. What do you guys do to find your "inner peace"? For me it's traveling alone. 💦🌴
Beautiful view from our backyard. So grateful for the cabin that we are living in, and this time in our life we get to experience Alaska. After two weeks of trying to get everything settled down we are out adventuring today!
Sometimes simple living makes you see things clearer. What do you need to make yourself happy? A big car? A succesful career? A walk in the woods? More sparetime?
I believe the answer to this differs from each individual. But when you are not distracted by your phone, computer and all the every day stress, you have the chance to to collect your thoughts and think them through without distractions.
That's what I loved about our stay at the national parks in USA. Wifi signal was terrible and no tv. Just nature and a good book. I found that I really enjoy the outdoors and picked up reading again.
In my life, I would rather live in a small not so fancy home to save money. That way I wouldn't have to work as many hours as I do now and would have more sparetime and money for travels. We haven't sold our house (yet? 🙈) but we have started in baby steps and sold one of our cars!
Have you done anything to make your life happier? I would love to hear - maybe we can use each other as inspiration! 😊
