My all time favorite place in Beijing! The 798 art zone where you can find local artists, sculptors, designers, everything 🎨 My heart swells every time I see the creativity flowing in Beijing. Definitely the best non tourist spot if you're going to Beijing and love art! Also, anyone remember my 798 Chinese videos??? 😏🀄️
I've had a very difficult few months both physically & mentally but I finally had a week on my favourite island paradise for a breather & finally I feel like myself again for the first time in a long while
I love the idea of being the carefree vagabond. Roaming to and fro and always flowing into the seasons with ease. I think I'll always trek this earth. I'll always vivaciously meld into my surroundings. Skipping barefoot from one adventure to the next. Bogged down by only a rucksack and pocket change. Map and audacious spirit in hand. I think I'll always want to let go, get lost and concentrate only on grasping at the frayed edges of joy. I think I'll always want more nature and less things. I'm at the beginning of wanting to craft home. And the thing I've learned is that just because you have a beginning, it doesn't have to come at the cost of an ending. Here's to figuring this life thing out on my terms. To owning myself and my life. Here's to many more beginnings, plane tickets, home and pocket change. 🌞
We get asked all the time if we're sisters. Maybe not by blood, but we're definitely soul sisters 4 life🖤 Another fun adventure in the books!
PS- we unintentionally intentionally matched bc #twinningiswinning
Travel and transport come in all sorts of shapes & sizes. Today, it came in the form of an hour and a half in the bed of a pickup truck through palm plantations and back roads to avoid a protest/ roadblock followed by four hours on a chicken bus. And I wouldn't have it any other way :)
Discovering tiny alley ways and old blue doors on the way to the honey souk. Yemeni honey is said to be the best, sadly we are unable to visit Yemen so honey from the Saudi mountains is the next best thing!
