Captain Randy has been working with the EWA for many years, volunteering his time and services. We couldn't give higher accolades to anyone. Captain Randy is a wealth of knowledge of all things Everglades and the nicest guy you'll ever meet. A day out on the water with him is an amazing adventure you'll cherish forever! If you're in South Florida, look him and get yourself a charter. NOTE: He is busy, so we recommend booking in advance.
We're a non-profit organization whose mission is to educate and spread environmental Everglades awareness (paying particular attention to helping the native species survive) by utilizing journalistic photography and video through various social media platforms.
Follow us and we'll follow back, Like us and we'll do the same. Please feel free to share our posts.
If you would like to volunteer or donate, you may do so on our website: www.E-W-A.org
Additionally, if you own products or provide services that may be of use to our organization (cameras / gear / camping, hiking gear/clothes, outdoor equipment etc...) and would like to donate or participate, we'll be all to happy to cross promote and provide product placement. The cause is genuine; we all share the planet and must take care of it as well as the native species in various areas including their ecosystems One love! Thank you!
I really hate posting two similar images in a row, but honestly I haven't shot anything else! It's been nice to take a bit of a break from client sets. I had another chance to sit with my friend @brinkmanph and watch these cute baby foxes again last night. I'm much happier with my shots this time around! I can really see myself getting more into wildlife photography during my "off" months from shooting client sets. It's a nice change and I'm learning so much about my camera gear and how far I can push it (it's obviously SO much easier when the animals aren't wild haha 😁) I plan to watch these kits at least a few more times until they are old enough to move on from this den.
I have just read from Julia's FB that these babies passed away. Julia, Cris and Con rescued and nursed these babies. Then Julia, my sister and I took them to the Malibu wildlife rehab. Now they all crossed the rainbow bridge to be with their mom. 😢🌈 #wildlife#opossum#rescue#rip#vegan
Epic campsite overlooking Neah Bay. Technicolor 🌅 sunsets make everything right in the world. Our fresh-caught blackened lingcod tacos 🌮 added a little sum'n-sum'n to the night's perfection as well. More impromptu wildernessing please! 🌄🏕🌊🐟 🎣 #isthisrreallife#summeradventures
I hope that the kids I spend my time with at the school understand that the wildlife in the entire world are constantly under threat by our Human activity.
This morning sadly I found lying on the small back road in goonengerry was a killed Brush turkey,a little boy. I wish for people to be more caring.. I mean how on earth does a person just hit a large bird and leave him lying there on the road to die slowly😢..A student just asked me why I work here with kids and I asked him if he thinks more about Animals now that I am here..yes , he replied..then that is my Job. 🙏🏼🐾🌱
I hope my time here at the school I can bring to each child the desire to help the Animals..all Animals. It's almost like animals are this mystical thing that exists out there and not in "Our" world... I feel it's the responsibility of every single parent to do something for the Planet and teach their children to take responsibility for every action..at the supermarket don't use Plastic bags, let bugs out of the house instead of killing them . Show kindness teach your kids so they don't grow up to be selfish humans.. We need compassionate caring souls to step up and spread love and compassion..please parents please show your kids that you care and do something about it. #byronhinterland#wildlife#koalas#bangalow#animals#parents#parenting#lifeskills#questions#environment#conservation#proactive#vegan#fortheanimals#compassion#forest
