Just an experiment - this is the problem I have with @myfitnesspal. I created a fake entry for tomorrow which included take-out breakfast, lunch and dinner, all washed down with fizzy drinks, a couple of pints and some chocolate. My Fitness Pal was happy to offer me a projected weight for a day in excess of 4,000 calories yet those of us working towards our goals get a passive aggressive warning about not eating enough! If it's so important, why does the above image say 'You've done no exercise and eaten a family of whales - stop being a pig?'. My FATNESS pal, more like.
FBF. Flash back to when I was so skinny I actually don't know how I didn't snap! I weighed 37kg. I didn't realise then how skinny I was! I lived my life to the fullest, I use to get comments like oh you should eat some more. Mmm if you knew how much I ate you'd not be saying that! Cystic fibrosis doesn't just ruin your lungs, it affects your whole body. I failed to thrive all my life and putting on weight was unheard of! I had to train and eat and train and eat and yes I used steroids to gain weight. I'm not ashamed to say that I'm not natural. But is being 20 and weighing 37kg natural? No! And if you were me I'm sure you'd try anything to stay alive. I had amazing people back me like @shaynes08 @theliftlab he never doubted what I was capable of! So just a little look into where I've come from. And yes I'm arrogant about my weight gain and how I look now because I worked hard to be here! Never put someone down when they don't look normal. You don't know what their story is or what journey they're on😊
I have been struggling lately with my body image. When I started playing roller derby, I lost a bunch of weight and ended up fitting into some size 6 pants, and even though I was trying to fight it, I was so excited. Since then, I have stopped playing derby, stopped getting nearly as much exercise, and gained a bunch of weight. I haven't been shopping recently but when I no longer fit into some of my clothes and my weight at the doctor's was heavier than I've ever been. It's been really hard to love this body when we are all told that gaining weight makes us worthless and losing weight is our main objective as women. When I'm at work and one woman says, "it's the kind of day when I started the day with a bagel and cream cheese." And then grimaces like it was the worst thing she could do. When another coworker jokes about not eating for two weeks to fit into her wedding dress. It is hard to stay on the path toward loving my body at all sizes. It is hard to remember how beautiful it is no matter how much it weighs, no matter where I am in my journey, whether I am struggling to move my body at all from the weight of depression, or have found a sport that I love to do that pushes my body and what it can do. No matter what, I am beautiful, I am powerful, I am smart, I am strong, I am still here. I am fighting to remember that.

I think today's workout is gonna be a long and difficult one. I'm feeling kind of energetic after a long sleep (and sleeping through 4 alarms) and I'm thinking just taking my time at the gym today will be nice. Kill your goals today!

Sorry I've been so quiet! I got food poisoning and was dying for 4 days. I initially lost 10lbs because of pretty severe dehydration but have since put some of that back on.
I'm leveled out now, and right on target with weight loss.

Want to have an easier time reaching the top of your Chin-Ups? Or even your One Arm Chin Ups? Here's a useful exercise for that. It's called a Spider Curl.
A Spider Curl has you laying face down on an inclined bench and curling upward as you see in the video. Because of the angle the body is at, the hardest part of the curl is when the arms are about horizontal. This helps strength the top position of your Chin Up progressions and can lead to new PRs and better quality Chins.
This is great because we all have experienced or know someone who has experienced the pain for nearly reaching their chin over the bar only to fail out at hitting a new PR. Here's a great way to strengthen that and turn that fail into a new success!
