Oftentimes when we find a variation of blue in our color palette, we gravitate towards fabrics to add in this dimension. In the floral world, this phrase tends to illicit a shade closer to purple, or else electric blue [think delphinium] or baby blue. There are some beautiful "black" varieties, which have a deep navy or purple undertone. ⠀
These @jennyyoonyc bridesmaid dresses are a perfect example of layering in that gorgeous deep peacock blue, to which we complimented them with bouquets filled with creams, plums, a touch of navy, and a gorgeous range of greens. I'll never tire of these!| Photography by @charlottejenkslewis ⠀
Satur-yay! Hope your weekend is off to a great start! It is absolutely gorgeous here right now, and I'm excited to get outside today 🌞 I have 4 of these beauties that are up for grabs as starter kits or additional colors. Additional colors are $25 #Lips2love#springtime#neutralmakeup#weddingpalette#lipsense#alldaylipwear
I'm so excited to announce the launch of my new e-design and wedding branding service today! For years, I've had to turn away so many clients who didn't have the budget for a full event design package but wanted the cohesive look of an edited designer wedding. I've been working on a process to offer this service remotely to couples all over the world and today I'm launching Finch & Thistle's Etsy shop - Finch & Thistle Weddings! I would love it if you would take a peek and share with anyone who may be interested! Link in profile! Thanks for your continued support of Finch & Thistle. I'm so excited for this new chapter! STAY TUNED for a GIVEAWAY announcement next week!
What a stunning bridal party! All matching bridesmaid dresses are the traditional choice and these gray floor-length styles are GORGEOUS. Not to mention the unique necklines. It doesn’t hurt to let your bridesmaids stand out a little! Can we take a moment to gush over those bouquets too?? So lovely! We bow down to this whole color palette! 🙌🏼😍 #saphireeventgroup 📸 by @firstmatephoto
Wedding Day Palette established!!! Getting very excited and already in love with these romantic hues. I'm envisioning a large canvas painting for the reception -- so most likely will throw in some ivory accents-- but this is the general idea!

Someone once told me "blue and green should never be seen" but I couldn't disagree more! And with Greenery being the Pantone colour of the year, we're really seeing an increase in couples choosing a blue and green palette for 2017 and 2018 weddings
😍this table arrangement!!! The color palette and lighting for this reception theme is #goals . Layering green around the table creates a beautiful earthy tone that's to die for! Elegance is the word of the day – so we approve. Let this be inspiration for any spring weddings out there and remember, theme is key! 🌿🌿🌞 #saphireeventgroup 📸 by @angelinarose_photography
There is usually one or two details that just make my day in each wedding. In this sweet wedding - which had *so* many, that little fern and sprig of muscari laying on top a double-sided menu for Maggie and Luke were just ... my favorite. It's the small things --- not to mention those @smallmasterpiece silver napkin rings! As classic as it comes. | Photography by @tecpetaja ⠀
The architect inside me loves working with simple color palettes because of the opportunities to layer multiple tones of the same colors - like this green and white from Kristina and Barrett's wedding. However, those deep plum orchids, black viburnum berry, and navy napkins are the accents that add in an extra detail that just makes it, in my opinion. [Also, those modern Calvin Klein home style glassware makes this modernist heart of mine sing!] | Photography by @charlottejenkslewis ⠀
