from @gnosis_maxim - "If I had been shown the ugly truth from the beginning and given the choice, I would have chosen compassion. 🍎💚 I would have chosen never to eat animals, or their products". RP
Having experienced both being a meat eater and now vegan, it is all too clear that it was unknowingly forced upon me to eat animals, the very animals I believed I loved. This deceit was, and is still being achieved easily by the billion dollar food industries and the media (both of which are in cahoots with one another) and even more saddening, is that those who raised me, my parents, were the catalyst for my meat eating days, just as their parents were for them, like a continuous invisible spiral of cognitive dissonance passed down from generation to generation, again originating through the influence of the food industry and media.
Everywhere you look dead animals are advertised as food, they are often disguised and are given a different label like 'bacon' 'steak', wiring our minds to not think and to not picture the sentient and loving animal, of which those chopped up pieces of flesh belonged.
As children, we are easily manipulated, not only by what is fed to us through our mouths, but what is fed to us by what we see, what we hear and what we are told. Being truthful to us from the beginning and allowing us to make up our own minds of the lifestyle we want to lead should be paramount when raising a child. Again, I say this because I have experienced both a meat eating life and vegan.
A life lived in line with ones ethics and values, makes for a truly beautiful world. 🌎 ✌️ #govegan#fortheanimals#vegan#vegans#vegansofig#vegansofinstagram#veganaf#vegangirl#crueltyfree#friendsnotfood#plantbased#junkfoodvegan#spookyvegan#savetheanimals#savetheplanet#animalrights#animalliberation#itsnotfooditsviolence - #regrann - #regrann

Since having an amazing turmeric latte, I have fallen for coconut milk. 🌴🌴🌴
It has a sweetness that complements turmeric’s slightly pungent and bitter flavour.
Some brands are blended with brown rice which tones down the coconutty taste, if you find it’s too much of a good thing.
Coconut milk, rice milk and almond milk have all become easy options for those of us who enjoy being dairy-free. Coconut milk’s creamy texture make it versatile in the kitchen and it can be used in place of cream in curries, soups and many other recipes.
👉🏻 When doing a plank make sure your hips don't shoot way up or go down ... Keep the body core tight and record yourself to check your form ... It helps
🔥 Last two days of this cut ... Excited to share my results!
Treat yo self!!! Normally I treat myself to fun things that aren't necessarily good related, but today I happen to be really in need of a cookie (it was one of those kind of weeks). So if I happen to want a treat, often times I find a way to make it better for you. Like these cookies that happen to have no oil, less sugar than most cookie recipes, have whole grain flour and oats, but still manage to satisfy my sweet tooth. And any baking I do tends to happen very sparingly, so it balances out without me over doing anything. These cookies are pretty popular among my husband and friends. They are pretty much a jumble cookie made of oats, walnuts, dried cherries and chocolate chips. Enjoy your weekend guys!
Hands up if you're not only a nicecream person but a New Girl person? Will Nick and Jess plz get together alreadyyyy 🙏🏼Got my Schmidt on in the kitchen this morning feat. Saturday's boysenberry nicecream 😎🍇🍇🙌🏽❄️💫
Which means I don't regret the chocolate covered pretzels I had this afternoon. 😂😂😂 💗
For real though-- look at my tummy! Looking backwards, it is the shape it is in because of my pregnancy with Ellis. He was HUUUGE, and it caused a condition known as diastasis recti. My abs have a space between them that may or may not ever close to go back to "normal." It makes it so that my stomach is never really flat. And while I can tighten my core, I'll pretty much always have that #mompooch . 💗
A few weeks ago, someone actually asked if I was pregnant. 💗
But rather than focusing on what I cannot change or be disappointed that I may never have a six-pack, I am going to focus on treating the body with which I was blessed the best that I can. I'm going to work hard to strengthen it through daily exercise, and fuel it with (mostly!) healthy foods. 💗
Clearly, I have no regrets over having my children. And I can't think of any moms who did not see some crazy change to their body after pregnancy-- body shape, visible veins, skin changes, even the size of our feet. It can be difficult, but we need to embrace these changes and learn to love our bodies for having the strength to withstand those months of being with child-- and all that came along after.😀 💗
You are beautiful. You are strong. You are amazing!
