Weekend baking! 🌟 Today I made these buckwheat crackles, and they are amazing! 😋I adapted the amazing @drlibby recipe and they turned out awesome! 👊🏻So quick and easy to make, and genuinely taste like the unhealthy rice krispie crackle! Super easy to take on the go and require no baking! These crackles are 100% vegan, paleo, gluten and dairy free, which makes them really good for you! 🙌🏻
1 c dehydrated buckwheat groats (you can dehydrate them yourself by putting them on a baking tray and baking them for 25-30mins at 50 degrees C)
2 handfuls raisins
15 raw almonds (chopped)
3 t cranberries
2 t chia seeds
1/2 c dessicated coconut
Pinch sea salt
1/2 c coconut oil (melted)
2 T cacao powder
3 T honey / maple syrup / brown rice syrup
Mix all ingredients together in a large mixing bowl with a wooden spoon. Pop the mixture into a baking tray lined with baking paper and leave in fridge until set.
Crackle is best served straight outta the fridge!

So do not start with those low-calorie diets, let's start eating better, more vegetables, more fruits, less processed food, more exercise🌸🍃.

last friday, i decided to try something new. there are so many vegan products in the market right now, and presently, i reside in a country and work in a store full of them! this is something i have taken for granted, so i am going to try my best to sample something new each week. with that being said, new things do, unfortunately, terrify me, so i suppose it's only reasonable that i start challenging those fears. so here i am, trying something new and different 🙈
just a couple of days ago, my frugal self noticed that @so_delicious’s coconut yoghurt was on sale. consequently, i purchased a couple of pots to try. today i am trying the strawberry flavoured yoghurt, although i have also purchased a blueberry flavoured one, which i will surely sample on another occasion. the verdict? this stuff lives up to its brand's name: it really does taste quite delicious. it also tastes like yoghurt (yay!), albeit a slightly more gelatinous, slightly less rich, and not quite-as-creamy variety. there are strawberry chunks mixed in (a pleasant and welcomed surprise), and if you dislike coconut like me, you will be happy to know that the coconut flavour is very subtle and almost undetectable (although i won't lie - it's still there.) also, if you give it a good stir, the creaminess really does come through, and it becomes really smooth, as well! the strawberry flavour is very near perfect (it has a bit of an artificial strawberry-ness to it and is a tad too sweet for my tastebuds, but i still enjoyed the taste nonetheless) (it reminds me of strawberry gummies.)) so as far as yoghurt goes, i will happily give this four happy bunnies out of five. definitely give it a go, if you stumble across it in your local grocery shop and have an urge to try something new 🌸
finally made it down to @horchateriarl and OH LORDY was it worth -- SO many regrets for not coming sooner! got the veganized mazapan frappe (obviously), churros w/strawberry drizzle and a whole haul of vegan conchas (not pictured). 🌱💯 GET DOWN THERE Y'ALL.
Craving these amazing tacos and that epic queso from @thewildcow. Everything they serve is plant-based and they have a new special every day. I plan to stop by whenever I'm remotely near Nashville, and you should do the same. Actually, it's only 337 miles away, time to fire up my Uber app...
Charcoal bun, beetroot and chickpea patty, hummus, avo and sweet potato wedges with marinated mushrooms on the side 🤤🙌🏼 been dying to try this burger for so long! @preach_cafe in bondi 👌🏼 this is their vegan burger, they also had an amazing looking zucchini bolognaise with tofu and veggies that I'll definitely try next time. Charcoal buns are my new thing and I've only tried the one 🙄
