AMAZING dinner tonight that was very easy to make😍 Underneath the broccoli + cauliflower salad from @truefoodofnyack , @amyskitchen refried beans, and farmers market sugar snap peas is a whole bunch of spinach and red cabbage😋👅 Seriously it doesn't get much better than a HUGE bowl of amazing foods! Got all of the good stuff in there😎 Topped the peas with balsamic, which was YUM! This is one of the bowls I bought at the pottery sale today! I'm so glad I did because I was looking for a huge bowl that could fit all of my food in it😂 Now I have an awesome and local piece of pottery that can do just that! I love looking at things like pottery for some reason and the stuff I find in stores are WAY too expensive, so this was a great find☺️ Have a lovely evening everyone!🌱 #roadtorecovery
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon instant yeast
1 teaspoon sea salt
3/4 cups warm water
1/4 onion chopped
1 garlic clove minced
1 can tomato sauce
1 can tomato paste
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon red cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
1. Mix the warm water and yeast until the yeast dissolves.
2. Add in the flour and salt
3. Combine until you get a formed dough
4. Let the dough rise for about an hour and a half.
5. Preheat the oven to 500°F
6. Coat a saucepan with olive oil and cook the chopped onions and minced garlic until soft and golden brown
7. Add the tomato sauce and paste and mix until smooth
8. Mix in the rest of the sauce ingredients.
9. Cut the dough in half
10. Roll out the dough with a rolling pin to 1/4 inch on parchment paper
11. Oil the baking sheet and transfer dough
12. Add as much sauce as you want
13. Sprinkle vegan cheese and whatever toppings you desire
14. Bake for 5 minutes and then rotate pizza
15. Bake for another 5 minutes and let it cook
Matcha and regular green tea both come from the Camellia sinensis plant, but Matcha is grown differently than regular green tea.
The green tea plants for matcha are shade-grown for about three weeks before harvest, and the stems and veins are removed in processing. During shaded growth, the plant Camellia sinensis produces more theanine and caffeine. The shade stimulates an increase in chlorophyll levels, which turns the leaves into a darker shade of green and increases the production of amino acids.

Veganism isn't a diet. It's not about being super healthy. It's not about restricting yourself. It's not about limiting what you can eat. It's not about being trendy. It's not about being picky. It's not about being superior. It's not about being skinny. It's about causing the least about of harm and suffering. I recently did a video taste testing vegan snacks from @vegancuts. I got a comment warning me to not promote foods that aren't healthy vegan foods because they cause weight gain. That is true. But that's not the point.
I'll share and promote all kinds of vegan foods that I think are good because it's more ethical and sustainable than non-vegan foods are. I want people to know that they can still have ice cream, cheese, and chicken nuggets but versions made from plants.
I don't care what people eat or what they do. I just ask them to not use and kill other sentient beings. In which not only harms them, but other people in the world and our planet that we all share. Veganism isn't just a diet or just about the animals. It's about something bigger than all of us. It's about doing the right thing in a messed up world.
