OH MY GOD! Are you guys ever intimidated by something until you actually do it?? Like cooking with new ingredients!? Today I made my first ever batch of hummus and I used it in this delicious summer sandwich! 🌱☺️😋🙃. White bean hummus. (8g protein per serving!!) 1 can white beans. 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice, 1/4 cup red onion, 1 tsp minced garlic, 1 tsp cumin, 1/2 tsp turmeric, 1/4 tsp sea salt, 3-5 Tbsp water. Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until desired consistency! I put it on some vegan garlic bread and topped with fresh cucumber 🥒 and sun gold tomatoes 🍅 and finished with a balsamic glaze 😍🙌🏼.

Raw Vegan Almond Rose 🌹 Cookies
Yum my new favorite. If we are what we eat, we may as well eat flowers!🌹🌹🌹 (but I guess I'm eating nuts here as well -oh well everything in balance, right?!)
SO. Not only do rose petals contain compounds that improve metabolism and clear toxins from the body, but they also make you feel good when you eat them🌹🌹🌹 and they are a potent aphrodisiac!
Mmmmake these! I've been sharing these with friends and they're absolutely loving them!
1 1/2 cup raw almonds
4 to 5 tbsp pure maple syrup
1 1/2 tsp almond extract
pinch of sea salt
splash of rose water
handful of dried rose petals
Put the almonds in your food processor and process until you have an almond meal. Add the rest of the ingredients, except the dried rose petals, and mix together until well incorporated. Mix the rose petals in by hand. Taste and adjust ingredients for best flavor. Mmmm Roll into truffles, of mini logs, or flatten and use a cookie cutter. Eat as is, or pop them into your food dehydrator at 115° overnight until the outsides are crispy crunchy, but the insides still soft and chewy.
