I bet it's gonna be the only winter artwork in your summer timeline 😜❄️ It was a very interesting commission of a specific house in Bergen with the polar lights ✨ And I'm quite pleased with the result. ☃️

Happy Anniversary❤

This is part of the view from Orchard St. One of the two gold unicorns on top of the Bristol Council House. These are my favourite piece of public art in Bristol, partly because they are on the council house - a flight of fantasy on a quite austere public building. It could have been a lion and a unicorn but no - two unicorns. The sculptor was David McFall There is an interesting mystery around their commissioning, no one seemed to know who had asked for them when they first arrived, and the installation was halted while inquiries were made into such frivolous artworks. More is on the sculptor's website www.davidmcfall.co.uk/page66.html #notquitedailysketch#pencilsketch#unicorn#bristol#urbansketchers#thecouncilhouse#bristolhistory#orchardstreet#collegegreen#parkst#oldbristol#gildedunicorn
