I just returned from a nice weekend getaway to Disney World with my youngest son, #elliottkent , my mom and sister.
While I was away the three oldest boys and Papa stayed home and had a boys weekend. They had a blast, but the laundry and chores have really piled up and we are in a time crunch to get packed for our trip!
We leave June 9th and we currently have our house rented 2 out of the next 3 weekends. The oldest two and I have a week of Cub Scout day camp to attend before we leave too.
We are also winding down the school year which ironically means more things going on everyday. I basically have two available days to get us packed for this trip!
Over the next few days I'll share some of the chaos with you as I prep the house for our Memorial Day renters, and simultaneously pack for a weekend trip, a wedding, a cave camping trip, and start packing for our 8 week summer journey! I hope to have our blog up and going by the end of the week too! (I had to buy this shirt when I saw it. The seller is FashionCrazyGirl on Etsy if you want to grab one!)
A charger in your suitcase? 🔋
Double Tap if you want one 👇
@away have been there and done that, genius is simplicity and they've matched both together. Great designs, great practicality and a great product.

While often mistakenly attributed to Gustavo Eiffel, Alfred Foulhoux's Central Post Office in #Saigon or #HoChiMinhCity is perhaps the most beautiful French colonial reminder of Vietnam's struggle to remain independent. Built in 1886, the aesthetic is distinctly French, however the large portrait of Ho Chi Minh up above is an ominous reminder of where you actually are.
What fascinated me most, is more than what you can see...it's what you you can't quite see well. Behind the large portrait of Ho Chi Minh on the rear wall, is the city’s coat of arms, inscribed with Paulatim crescam, “Developing little by little”. There were attempts in the 1970's to remove that resilient and defiant quote, and indeed, the beautifully resilient and defiant spirit of Vietnam. Both however, remain.

When you're a full-time traveller, ordinary days are just as important as adventurous days... we found a local play centre/cafe that Leo loves and played happily at for over 2 hours!! #parentingwin#whycantallcafesbelikethis 😝
Finished packing with 2hrs of sleep the night before and survived the nearly 12hr flight to London with the kiddies! Chatted with some very nice people while trying to keep the kids under control; an older lady who immigrated to London from Tokyo 45 years ago and was visiting her hometown, a gentleman from Oxford who travels to Japan twice every year in spring and fall, and a Japanese couple living in Tokyo but whose daughters have been attending boarding schools in London since 6 years old. There are so many ways to live your life🍀前の晩は睡眠2時間で準備を終えて、無事おチビ2人との約12時間フライトを乗り切りロンドンに到着！
