Kali pertama ketinggalan pesawat itu pengen nangis, kesel, nyesel, dongkol, kukulutus! Rencana liburan UTSnya hampir gagal, tapi demi senyum manis @adniya_26 anak ibu akhirnya Ayah @bara__77 berani merogoh kocek lebih dalam biar kata harga tiketnya 4 x lipat lebih mihil😭 (Pdhl harga segitu bisa ke Tokyo ber4 bolak balik pake Ekonomi😄) Ya sudah cukup jadi pengalaman saja, Cukup!! #curhat#flight#trip#traveling#travelgram#travelphotography#travelingwithkids
Today I was lucky enough to experience sunbeams coming through the Richter window in the Dome of Cologne, which I didn't plan at all - how can I get sooo excited about things like that? It made me so happy introducing my kiddo to that Dome, how she said "tower, tower" and "big" in sign language and how much we enjoyed the visit to the Museum Ludwig (more Gerhard Richter! Shapes! Colors!) afterwards. This trip encourages me so much to travel with my child since I loved every minute of this micro adventure. I have to admit that my comfort zone got really limited in that matter ever since we left Berlin - traveling is somewhat challenging with a special needs child that needs a huge stroller, limited in her own mobility, and is guaranteed everyone's attention (since she does not give a damn about social limits). But things turned out amazing and I feel empowered to just take what's ours - which is our family time, our (ok, my) dreams and yes, our Europe, too (cause - Le Pen and all you other right wing intruders to the most beautiful idea of a United Europe - can you please be quiet?). PS.: Traveling is a difficult topic for me tbh because of all the refugees not getting the dignity they deserve. I feel odd about my german passport and can't handle travel as if it wasn't an act of power and hierarchy. White girls and boys can go anywhere, hippy dippy self love trippin' whilst other people die at borders. It needs to be addressed.
Love the beach!! Sal, Cape Verde has beautiful beaches. Today I wrote my last blog about the highlights of Sal. Because.. Yes there are highlights and must sees. Have you been to Sal or planning to, check it out, direct link in bio. Is your favorite in this list? #kidslovetravel
Our first stop will be the beautiful city of Austin, Texas. Being able to kayak down this amazing river in the heart of the city is pretty spectacular 🛶
After lots of Pinteresting…I have become overwhelmed with all the awesome things there are to do in Austin with kids. We will be there for a whole month, but I definitely don’t want to feel rushed doing everything so I'm not going to attempt to ✨
So that being said, what are some things I definitely don’t want to miss in AUSTIN ❓❓❓ 📸 credit: @austinkayaktours
Cruising down the canals in Copenhagen has to be one the better canal rides out there. Check out this view! Also, would you believe that as pish-posh as this looks, just a few blocks from one of these streets lining the canal is Christiania, an autonomous hippie neighborhood in Copenhagen where you can buy all the weed you want, live freely as an anarchist, and "leave the EU"? Mr. T and I walked through it with Traveler #3 , stuck out like sore 👍🏻, I'm sure, but everyone was very nice and left us alone to wander about. It made our straight-laced selves uncomfortable but it was still eye opening-- so in short, "the perfect travel experience"! 😁Where have you been that's "the perfect travel experience"? I'd love to add some more to my list!
The Discovery Park of America is one of those places that you can't believe no one has ever heard of. The few people I know who are aware of it are only so because they happen to know a friend who found it. Let me be that friend for you. You guys, this place has everything! It was crazy cool and it took us 2 days to see it all because it's just that big. The kids loved everything about it. It's definitely worth a trip! ❤
We're headed to @kingsdominionva tomorrow for a #media event but we decided to come down the day before since it's a long drive.
We're staying in downtown Richmond, VA and taking an evening stroll with the kids. It's so beautiful!
This is the Virginia State Capitol and it has a huge park - perfect for the kids to run!
Anyone from this area?
Happy Friday Everyone! Keeping it short and sweet today 😉 with another pic from Kyoto.
What are you up to this weekend?

Sterly man getting after it this morning in the 🍓 fields.. #local and #organic 👌🏻I'll definitely think twice about putting him in white pants next time we go pick produce. This was taken before the damage haha.. photo by the talented @juliahubberman 📷
Enquanto ela brinca, eu aproveito pra agendar o passaporte dela e do Chico. Em abril tenho uma conferência que estou organizando na Colômbia e como a Maria Alice ainda é muito pequena, vamos todos viajar. Depois postarei no blog (quando conseguir um tempo) sobre a solicitação de passaporte pra crianças. #mumholic#viagemcomcriancas#travelingwithkids#tudopelofrango#maternidade
