DONT APOLOGISE FOR LOVING YOURSELF 😘 | Why is it that women make other women feel guilty for loving their own body? It's almost like we want others to criticise themselves as to not seem 'stuck up' and make ourselves feel better. That is not okay 😤
This year, I issue a challenge to stop and look at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself out loud 'I am beautiful'. Make 2017 the year that you choose to love your body for whatever state it is in. I'm not saying it's bad to want to become fitter, healthier, etc. In fact I am a huge advocate for healthy living, eating well and exercising (duh). But I'm saying that you're not gonna love your body in any shape if you don't learn to love it in it's current shape. Whether you wish you were thinner, you could gain weight, you were taller, shorter, and so on. Love what you have going on! I'm saying this out of experience, you're never, EVER going to truly love yourself and your body if you don't learn to love it in any shape it's in. I've struggled with body image ever since I was in high school, and I know the journey to being "body positive" as people call it now is one hell of an uphill battle... but it is possible and SO WORTH IT! Make the choice. I promise the seemingly impossible journey to loving yourself will be worth it.
