I study and have my own curriculum... the collegiate route is overrated (but it bought me some time). Self righteous professors competing with students and aiding the system to produce pure conformity #AVKE ❤️🖤💚 #thoughtsOutLoud#humble#therapy#vent
When you realise what you have been looking for has been right under your nose all along and you just finally feel complete. Alhamdulillah I found it. I realized all I ever needed was myself and Allah. I never really noticed these were the only two things constant in my life. Now go cry your heart out raw. Cry and beg forgivness. We commit so many sins without our knowledge and worse, sometimes we do it on purpose thinking nothing really bad is going to happen. Ignoring the guilt. If you feel even an atoms weight of guilt it means you still have imaan. And I am telling you. Don't loose that imaan. Raise it high. Try to really feel it. I promise you, I promise it feels SO good. Your heart will feel lighter and stronger. You will feel happy and blessed even in hardship. Real goal in life is Jannah InshaAllah. And it shouldn't be restricting. Real Islam is pure and free. Don't change rules for your own convenience. I pray for your happiness and mine InshaAllah. -Riz
So it turns out cupping is not as popular as I thought! I've had so may questions about it so I shall try and explain the best I can. -Cupping therapy dates back to ancient times and is one of the oldest medical textbooks in the world.
I went for wet cupping. The therapist starts by creating a mild suction by leaving a cup in place for about 3 minutes then removes the cup and uses a small scalpel to make light, tiny cuts on your skin. Then a second suction to draw up all the bad stuff.
-So how does it work - Cupping draws up the old non-circulating stagnant blood and sticky fluids from the area, bringing them up to the surface and away from the injury so that healthy free circulation can be restored to the affected area, thus creating space for oxygen, new blood vessels and nutrients for faster recovery. It is also effective at stretching tight fascia and muscles. Where there is dead, static blood, lymph, cellular debris, pathogenic factors, and toxins present in the body, cupping can leave marks which indicates that the stagnation has been moved from the deeper tissue layers to the surface.
-So in short cupping can help you overcome old and new injury by:
.1. Increasing circulation
.2. Increasing oxygenation and tissue delivery
.3. Remove old stagnant blood
.4. Cause micro trauma and beneficial inflammation
.5. Create new blood vessels
.6. Stretch fascia and connective tissue.
-P.s it is a little painful 🙈

Hello my beautiful followers. If you're taking time to read this and help, I sincerely appreciate it. 💕
I have a very close friend who has severe depression and anxiety. Our friendship grew because we have some similar diagnoses and mental health challenges. Most of our friends are either lucky enough to be mentally healthy (or they're hiding it really well). So we bonded over a mutual understanding of each other and our needs on our bad days. We talk a lot about our similarities with therapy (both our therapists share the same first name hehe). •
She has basically served as a guinea pig for every medication on the market and nothing made her feel that much better. Recently, under the supervision of healthcare providers, she has made the courageous decision to stop all medication. •
The next few months are very busy and have some big changes in store. She is, understandably, getting stressed out and I've started to notice more bad days than good days and I'm worried about her. •
Her therapist recommended several books and practices to guide her to self love to help her resolve some issues working from the inside out. But, she admits to not reading the books and articles. •
What I'm asking for is this:
What is the best way to constructively have a discussion with her about my concerns? I support her decision not to take any medication, but I don't believe she's doing any of the work outside of therapy and honestly, I wish she would. It's hard knowing how far I've come in the last few months with my practices and in a way I feel like I'm leaving her in the dust. •
I mainly don't want her to feel judged. I don't want to come off as if I'm all high and mighty with all my positive changes. I want the conversation to feel more like an invitation. .
Thanks for all your help 💕

.Connor currently ends his day at public school at 11 a.m. We are working, with good progress, back to a full day. At the end of the day, however, as ASD parents we know intimately what holds interest with our children. Sharing our own passions and various skill sets is another non negotiable. We are helping to shape real people, flesh and blood and dreams and fears and love and not a stereotype who's delightful distinctiveness becomes an after thought the moment an exchange dispells in passing. That reaction, that automatic, culturally ingrained arrogant acknowledgement of a seeded belief that autistic difference is unapproachable and unworthy of the effort to embrace a love many will never know enough of to recogize it in others or themselves. The thought that my sons friends and relationships at school do not extend beyond that setting. It takes effort to truly care for and invest in anyone. People can also surprise themselves when given a glimpse inside the Spectrum. Love is resilient and hungry. This is what keeps me up at night. Often, what finally puts me to sleep is the blissful pain of one of my conversations with Connor. The pain is the smallest part and it's in my heart, like any parents and it pangs with our babies struggles and their strength. He fought through his fear for others who could not communicate as well as he can. If he can carry empathy home on top of all the other crap and passionately express his concern for others... my heart gets light and I can rest my eyes. I just can't ever die. #autistic#autism#autismawareness#thegoonies#therapy#artist#montecarlo#freethetree#pink#california#cannabis#hiking#adventure#chevy#autundrum#guardian#angel#love#happy#potd#picsofinstagram#artlove#stoked#artwork#dream#equality#womensrights#equalrights @hemp_society @iglivingdocument @autism_fighters @humanswithasd @aspergers_style @autismrocksla @thecannabis.institute
