I just finished working up one of these for @lightheartphotog, and am soon to start another for a very patient customer, so I thought I'd flick through some images of past pieces. @tori.knits actually knit this update, using my pattern, which is available on Ravelry. 🐑
The pattern includes instructions for both fingering and DK weight yarns, in child and adult sizes. The different textures of this cowl give the finished piece interest and a point of difference, regardless of which yarn you choose. This particular one has been made using a variegated yarn.

Day 23 of #marchmeetthemaker : Recent Work. Of course I chose to share another photo of my March pouch. I'm giddy over how cute these guys turned out. They're part of my new Pattern of the Month Project. I started the series in February: once a month I'll be releasing a brand new zipper pouch with a new hand drawn pattern. The project is a way for me to really play with repeat patterns. To try new things, new approaches. To experiment. Each pouch is released as a very small limited edition (the March pouch's link is in my profile).
Another gorgeous bundle of wool available to purchase for the Navajo Elders in our program. Our program assists Navajo Elders through donations that allow us to purchase yarns for the Elders to weave into rugs. Many of those rugs are then put into the Rug Catalog.
Their weaving provides the means for them to sustain themselves in their traditional way. Many of the traditional Elders do not have the money to purchase the yarns to weave with. As we have provided yarns for these Elders, we have seen great pride in each of the weaver's as they weave their visions into the rugs
