From Christine Caine:
The difference between who you are and who you want to be is what you do.
I have discovered this over and over in areas of my life where I wanted to grow, change and expand. I’ve learned that if we’re prepared to do the work required for leading and achieving—whether it’s ourselves or others—we’ll accomplish more than if we sit back and wait for something to happen. I’ve learned that it’s important to set a goal, create a plan, work hard, and then stay the course. And that last step is always the hard part.
The ability to stick-with-it-no-matter-what is one of the secret ingredients to staying the course, to getting from “here” to “there.” It takes courage to begin something, but persistence to keep going. It takes tenacity.
Tenacity will help you to keep pushing and working hard when the novelty has worn off.
Tenacity will keep you on the path when it looks bleak, full of challenges and drudgery.
Tenacity is the muscle that needs to be developed in your head and so you can finish—and finish strong.
Solomon, the wisest man who ever lived, said, “Finishing is better than starting. Patience is better than pride” (Ecclesiastes 7:8). In whatever area we want to develop, to achieve our goal—whether it’s something personal or professional—we have to stay with it: “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up” (Galatians 6:9). God promises us the win if we stick with it. So, pull on that tenacity God’s placed inside of you today. Then you can finish—and finish strong!
When you refuse to look like shit Volume 3
Scorpios have such tenacity and decipline. We just refuse to lose. I take care of my health by any means necessary. Its not pretty and I don't pretend it is but It takes literally minutes out of a 24 hour day, yet I hear the most rediculous excuses!
At the end of the day from all the mentorship you get, from all the books you read about how to achieve your goals, from all the conferences you go to, the networking events, the tutorials that you watch…with all this information coming at you, you only find your path by walking it.
Say it with me: "I am a capable writer." You are, yes indeed - I know you are a capable writer.
We all have room to growth AND that increased effectiveness won't happen if we don't actively move our pens, pencils or fingers on the keyboard. Start where you are and devote yourself to improvement because YOU are a CAPABLE writer.

MOTIVATION MONDAY!!! First~Happy Memorial Day! *
Ive been patiently waiting for this pic. It's how I imagined. Clearly, I love making dorky mouth faces. I walked, actually danced, the stage in front of 18,000 people in April to be recognized with some friends for the promotion to Regional VP the year before. *
That promotion represented so much in my life, my family's life, my team's life, and the growth of my business. It showed me a ton about who I am and who I want to become.
GRIT: Noun: Courage, bravery, pluck, backbone, spirit, strength of will, moral fiber, steel, nerve, fortitude, toughness, hardiness, resolves, resolution, determination, tenacity, perseverance, endurance; informal, guts, spunk.
That was the start of a lifelong journey of incredible personal growth, learning to dig in and never waiver on what I want and know is right, and outstanding life choices for my family. Dancing across that stage was a way to solidify all those things and the things to come 💪🏼💪🏼🔥🎉💥🙌🏻☝🏻
DO NOT WAIT FOR ANYTHING IN THIS LIFE! CARPE DIEM! Be free and live your best life!
