After my little bit of honesty post the other night I bought myself some flowers (they are pretty much dead already but they were nice while they lasted 😂), and I just wanted to thank you to those that got in touch through Facebook, Instagram etc and offered words of encouragement, support and those that are going through something similar themselves.
There seems to be a massive stigma attached to mental health and I don't know why, since being so open about it so many people have opened up and told me they are suffering from depression, anxiety, stress and eating disorders....
Surely things are better when we talk to one another? When we support one another? And realise we aren't the only ones going through what can be one of the most loneliness and darkness times of your life.
I don't know whether setting up a Facebook group would be useful in some way? I'm no means qualified in this, but if I can help just one person in feeling better then that's better than nothing ❤️ #mentalhealthawareness
