I have had a very unhealthy relationship with food for many years. I am so happy that I can finally say it's ok to eat food! It keeps me going and, helps me push through those tough workouts. I use to think in order to lose weight I needed to starve myself then I would binge because, I was so hungry. I don't follow diets or count macros because for me it turns into something not healthy. What I do is listen to my body and, don't over eat. I make better choices. I also allow myself to indulge in my favorite things but, I still never over do it. I am seeing my body change in ways I never did and, I have a healthier view of food.
