order of least to most dry from this brand: chocolate chip, banana chocolate chip, cranberry orange white chocolate chip, double chocolate chip, then peanut butter. 
unfortunately, the textures on these cookies are very hit and miss. i would highly suggest chocolate chip & banana chocolate chip (don't worry though, the banana isn't super strong or artificial) as your go to flavors if you're thinking about ordering (: more reviews to come!!

Do you guys know that there's a difference between raw CACAO powder and COCOA powder? I mostly only use raw cacao these days because it's cold pressed which means that it maintains it's original enzymes and it's loaded with minerals.  So it's that chocolate flavour we all know and love, but way better for you! And dairy-free too! Try these derivatives of cacao out for yourself: |

Something I feel is super important for me at the moment, but also lots of lovely people. I know I'm guilty of comparing myself to others. I feel I should be as good as someone else at work, as fit as someone on Instagram.... the list goes on. We need to remember every so often to be proud of ourselves and our accomplishments.

Not the most photogenic breakfast but cacao and coconut porridge really hit the spot this morning. Having a really bad body image day, probably due to the anxiety of our gait practical where I have to walk in a bra and undies in front of my classmates for them to analyze my walk. Also feeling mega unproductive. I have so many little things to do and no motivation. In case you needed a reminder (only because I did today), positive people don't always have positive days. โ˜๐Ÿป I preach positivity and optimism partly because I need those affirmations myself. Today was a rough mental health day. I let everything going on get to me and I may have shed a few tears. That's ok, I'm ok! It's ok to breakdown sometimes, to feel raw emotion. I am guilty of trying to do too much, guilty of having too much on my plate and sometimes, it's just too much to handle. I just remind myself that I'm human, we all have emotions and even though I try to be positive nonstop--- that ish is impossible. None of us have it all figured out or have an easy road we're on, no matter how it seems. I got my pouty/exhausted butt up, and went to the gym for a BRUTAL leg/booty workout. Shaky legs and a nice pump thanks to my new non-caffeinated pre from @pescience ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป Now time for rest and a refreshed mindset for tomorrow. Love y'all. -

Still feeling great on day 9 ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿป and this @whole30 approved Chinese food is giving me life and only took me 15 mins to make ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ Spaghetti squash noodles (leftover), sautรฉed broccoli, bok choy, peas and onion in toasted sesame oil, ghee, and coconut aminos. Salmon topped with green onion and sesame seeds.  This meal is definitely going in regular rotation ๐Ÿ˜

Lunch consisted of meatballs, my homemade white chocolate macadamia nut cookies, a chocolate chip cookie, a bowl of cereal with unfrozen almond milk which I added after the pic, an English muffin with PB, 4 pieces salami, peas, tea and a chocolate special k bar which is a pretty good flavour.
I so strongly feel like this was a binge even though I was really hungry, but I still feel hella guilty, after dinner I had another English muffin with PB and I feel so awful.
I'll try not to be too negative here.. but I apologize for not being as active as usual... I'm struggling a lot and I'm hella nervous for the medical admission tomorrow but I'll tell you guys how it goes ๐Ÿ˜ฌ
I've been trying to hang out around my pets more, like I've been hanging out with chase (golden retriever puppy) but it doesn't feel the same, I really want my own puppy or kitty and have for years but it'll never happen :/ Hope everyone is doing well :3

Lunch consisted of meatballs, my homemade white chocolate macadamia nut cookies, a chocolate chip cookie, a bowl of cereal with unfrozen almond milk which I added after the pic, an English muffin with PB, 4 pieces salami, peas, tea and a chocolate special k bar which is a pretty good flavour. I so strongly feel like this was a binge even though I was really hungry, but I still feel hella guilty, after dinner I had another English muffin with PB and I feel so awful. I'll try not to be too negative here.. but I apologize for not being as active as usual... For maximum results, throw your body a curveball by working multiple muscles at the same time.

When I first started my little fitness journey I would many times have fast food right after lol not the best post workout meal ๐Ÿ˜‚ my fav was thriftys ice cream after or just skip the gym and visit a drive thru lol really ๐Ÿ™ƒ (my chipmunk cheeks stuck with meโœŠ๐Ÿฝ) It's hard/challenging at first but worth it in the long run ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ | post shoulders in my fav gym selfie area ๐Ÿ™†๐Ÿฝ lol (plus no crazy bun/hair Mel again today I'm on a role ๐Ÿ˜‚)

First real workout in about a month. It was TOUGH. It was a wildly unfocused workout that lasted just under an hour but ya know what? I got my body moving and I enjoyed it. I put on some good tunes and stopped holding myself to some crazy unrealistic standard. ๐Ÿ”ญ

Hardest part is over! I did legs today because y'all know I hate training lower body. But that means I get to look forward to an upper body lift tomorrow ๐Ÿ˜ผ .

Week 2 of the cleanse has been eye opening. When my vision is not blurred by images of fast food neon signs it becomes clear that this is the way we are supposed to fuel our bodies. I feel in control, more energetic and can confidently say I am not even craving fast food or any of the fat and calorie laden foods that I have often depended on. Looking forward to the benefits this lifestyle has to offer!

I'm not a huge fan of ketogenic diets for the average, healthy person looking to lose some body fat. Mainily because people think that there is some kind of "magic" that happens on a low carb diet when in actuality it is just the caloric deficit created within the diet and would see the same results on a high/moderate carb diet as long as calories are equated. ๐Ÿ”น

However this study addresses the use of a keto diet within medicine IF a metabolic syndrome has already been diagnosed. There is also literature out there that shows a keto diet can help reduce cancer tumors that primarily use glucose for energy. ๐Ÿ”น

I am obviously not an expert, but this definitely helped me reiterate the difference between using nutrition as a tool for fat loss and using different diets as medical treatment. Understand for the healthy individual without any metabolic syndromes, a keto diet is not magic. The most important factor for fat loss is maintaining a proper caloric deficit, regardless of a high or low carb diet. Chose the diet that you can adhere to consistently and helps you reach your goals ๐Ÿ‘

Snacking on this berry smewthie bowl as I meal prep for the first time in 5ever!! ๐Ÿ˜จ Honestly, for the past month my diet has been terrible, eating out for almost every meal bc I was always on the go, traveling from Palo Alto --> work --> SF --> work on repeat and fitting the gym in there somewhere everyday-ish and then there was Coachella and so on and so forth. But that's no excuse! Today, after an exhausted and unwholesome day of work I told myself I'm sick of feeling like a piece of ๐Ÿ’ฉ all the time haha and I'm finally gunna fix my diet and start meal prepping again ๐Ÿ˜ still gotta work out the kinks of my crazy schedule but I'm going to try to designate at least one night a week when I can meal prep. Super stoked to start eating my own food again and can't wait to share it!  Diet really is so important to feeling good and having gr8 workouts. Happy Tuesday~~ xx

Maybe there's something bigger waiting right around the corner. Don't be your own limitation. Set some big ass goals. Believe in your capabilities. And do work.
