As a coach, the number one area that I see athletes, of all skill levels, struggle with is the "basic" SKILL of breathing & bracing. Its also the number one way to improve performance and decrease risk of injury. It's a difficult position to feel if you have never been there before. Athletes have to go within their bodies and observe their default process before they can begin the learning process. This is a very humbling process because hey we all know how to breath, right...? People are far less likely to change the processes "they know how to do". Repost @moveu_official (@get_repost)
#PivotalMovements ! 🌪Demo of how to find your neutral pelvic position while standing and then rotate using your hips.💃 Grab a band and work on rotating for 1-2 minutes per side. 📸Video tape yourself or watch yourself in the mirror to see whether or not your spine is ↩️arching/rounding↪️ while performing this motion. If it is, stop it!!🛑
Hold the band at the belly so that you can feel whether or not your abs are turned on while you rotate. Your obliques, back, and pelvic floor(Kegals!) should also be engaged! Make sure to keep your shoulders down and back without sticking your “rib boobs” up. Keep your head retracted. Grip the floor with your feet!👣
To intensify this exercise… straighten the arms out directly in front of you🤛. This will change the leverage and truly test your core strength(depending on how tight the band is!)

Ladies we need to do something to move our body every day or every other day!Exercise helps with circulation, perfusion to vital organs, mood and more. I know how it feels when #hypothyroidism and #hashimotos causes so much #fatigue and #jointpain that exercise is the last thing you'd want to do. I've been there. The thing is that the key is to start slowly... #dance#walk#stretch#hoolahoop do something that moves your body each day because exercise also helps to lessen fatigue! *
Just don't over do it and stress your #adrenals 😀 *
Get up, take amino acid synergy, your adrenal support and thyroid medication and go #workit#workitbaby#workitgirl and then shower and have breakfast. Over time, you will be #amazed just remember to take it slow #nursesorders 😘 *
I speak from personal experience. Living with Hashimoto's or any #autoimmunedisease disease is hard. But it's not an excuse to never exercise/move your body! *

Take me back to the beach please! I had a great time in the Dominican, but it was not enough beach time. I couldn't help the days it rained, but the days I did have I wish I spent them at the ocean rather then the pool. This day here was specifically to take pictures of this beautiful ocean. Reminiscing through my pictures reminded me how much I would love to go back one day ❤️
