Back in Ann Arbor! First run post-marathon and my quads are still in recovery mode 🙈 I like to take 2 weeks off after a race to let my body rest, but I always go on an easy run about halfway through to check in with my body and see what areas need some extra love. Some people run the day after a marathon, some wait a week, some wait 2. EveryBODY is different, so do what works for you 💪

Learning to embrace your body can be hard. I know this because I struggled with accepting myself for many years.
It is so liberating when you can finally throw self-doubt out the window and put on that sexy little dress, bathing suit, t-shirt, or whatever it is you have been hesitant on wearing because you were worried about what people will think.
Even just a year ago, I never would have worn a dress like this because I was so worried about my baby belly skin. It has plagued me for 12 years since my eldest daughter was born.
In the last 3 months, I finally said fuck it to all of my insecurities and decided that what other people thought of me doesn't matter.
I rocked this tight red dress last night for my birthday. It was my first time having red lips (something I was afraid of for a long time) and my first time wearing a sexy dress without fear of judgment. Without worrying about what anyone thinks.
And you know what??? IT FELT AMAZING!!! I want to help you shed your insecurities and really learn to love the skin your in. What do you say? Let's do this!!!
Breakfast time for us. Got to kickstart the metabolism with a good solid breakfast. My breakfasts always consist of a high amount of fat and protein with little to no carbs. Carbs in the mornings tend to make me feel lethargic.
Our mind – a part of ourselves that’s comprised of our past experiences, societal cues, and practical knowledge – likes to battle with our intuition. But our intuition is always right.
If a situation or life path feels wrong, it almost always is. More importantly, if you are willing to tap into it and trust that you will always know when to adjust your course, things will undoubtedly begin to slip into place as if the resistance never existed at all. If you quiet your intuition, life goes back to making things uncomfortable. It’s not a punishment, it’s a prodding. When things are uncomfortable, we are forced to shift.
