Restorative yoga? Don't mind if I do . My body feels like it's actually been hit by a truck this morning. I may have been over zealous in the gym and in my self practice these last few days and am now paying for it. So I'm Promising myself to slow down and enjoy the beauty of stillness . As much as I love it, and know its benefits, still I find it hard to take rest and Restore. Why is there a guilt attached to doing 'nothing' I wonder and that feeling of having to be busy 'doing' all the time.....

Right now I am focusing on the "Law of Attraction" in all aspects of my life. What you think and feel you attract....well that part is not instant but it starts the manifestation process. The amazing thing about the law of attraction is that it gives you time to think about what you want. We have thousands of thoughts per day. Learning to be more mindful of your thoughts can help to stop the thoughts that are not so great for your highest and best. Remember what you think and feel you attract. For example, my little girl is seriously pushing my buttons at the moment and I can feel the frustration and stress rising in me, particularly first thing in the morning. Working with the law of attraction I now choose to stop myself from spiralling these emotions out of control and think of something joyful and really feel the joy. If I choose to continue being annoyed then the likely hood the universe will kindly give me more situations to be annoyed at!!! Or choosing joy, the universe will give me more opportunities to have a fab day. We all have the gift of choice!!! Good vibes certainly attracts more of what you want, peace and love 🙏❤

I've been quiet on Insta for the past few months & this is why! ❤ I often talk about mindfulness, slow living, taking time to pursue things with your whole attention. Well, this year has been a whirlwind, with pregnancy, moving house, family drama, study & work ~ I have taken on less to focus more on the things already on my plate. Only way to get through without a whole lot of stress... However, over the past week things have shifted as uni ended & a couple of big projects wrapped up. Today I feel like I have SO many ideas for things I want to do, create, write about & try, I can't wait to share them with you! Throwback to last week and a warning to slow down.
My PCM fully believes it was a TIA and we are treating this as a TIA. Anyone that knows my family history, my medical history, and how my mom died knows why hearing that is a scary thing. I have to slow down. But I don't know how. I don't know how to keep my stress level down any better than I have. But if I don't then I risk a full blown stroke and possibly death. 😣🤤
It's difficult to put into words how beautiful and mind altering Hariharalaya Retreat was for me, so I'll share a story.. my beautiful Bush Nan passed away approximately 15 years ago. She was artistic, authentic, unique, organic, a hippy and walked to the beat of her own drum. She cared so much for wildlife and nature. When she passed she said "every time you see a frog (her fav animal) think of me". Every sunset practice a frog would join me for yoga and meditation. I instantly knew she was with me, sharing this incredible experience and proud of my journey and the person I am. There is nothing static about a yoga asana. The breath is always moving, moving you. Slowing down your practice to experientially feel the breath and its movement through the body, feeling that life force, that prana coursing through the body. •
Slow down. There's no rush. Feel into each pose and each repose. Give the body time to unfold and deepen. •

At times we think (and feel) like we can do everything; cross off everything on our to do lists, take on more work responsibilities or study (or both at the same time), over commit with social engagements. But our bodies will eventually tell us to slow down and we need to listen to our bodies before burn out takes a hold. We can do anything but we certainly don't need to do everything. A wheel of fire, this message came up strong for you this morning to be aware of the significance of the wheel which goes round and round from top to bottom. Are you burning yourself out, are you burning the candle at both ends. Slow down and stop forcing things to happen. Your not going to miss out but your at a point of over exerting yourself if you do not take time out. Listen to your mind, body and soul, they are asking you to cool the F down.
