Psychiatric follow up. The last two appointments with my psychiatrist has been casual. I told her everything's great...BF, family, hobbies and cooking. I confessed my medication taking habits and she's cool with that...I told her I had a dream about her and how it upset me. In the dream, her receptionist said they won't be seeing me anymore. No explanation given and I was worried, wondering what was wrong with me and what did I do. In the dream, I managed to see her and she said she was closing up her practice. She reassured me today that she plans on staying here and considers Winnipeg her home. She's only a few years older than me so I will have her for awhile anyway. ***Yesterday I went to Vaughan Street Jail during #doorsopen . This was one of the jails from the late 1880s that housed 'lunatics'. We were treated poorly back in those days - we were chained up, shot kicked by guards and sometimes they placed breadcrumbs around our faces while we were tied up so the rats would come to munch. Once the crumbs were gone, they'd take bites off our faces. I'm so glad to be mental in the 2000s. Mental health has come a long way from those times but we still have a ways to go. Go mental health! #jail#abandonedplaces#abandoned#urbex#urbanexplorer#ruins#winnipeg#historical#decay#hdr_pics#hdr_mania__#doorsopenwinnipeg2017#vaughanstreetjail#attraction#wanderlust#igers#sundayfunday#architecture#design#interiordesign#204#wpg#photography#blogger#rustic#prison
Someone asked if the view of the large cliff dwellings (2 photos ago) was hard to reach. It's only a couple minutes walk from a parking area to the viewing platform you see all the people at in the upper left corner of this picture.
