Hiiii friends! Today we summited our first 14er. I am anxious with heights (FL girl here 🙋🏼) but I made it to the tippy top 😬. Taking a break from my typical workouts this week & just enjoying living ☺️ ✌🏼
Earlier this summer, after the duck disaster, I met a woman in Paonia with a prolific poultry farm and adopted 4 of her ducks, about a month old at the time. I took home 1 mallard, 1 khaki campbell, and 2 call ducks. Since then I've been clicker training them with peas (their favorite) and yesterday released them to live on the pond for the summer.
I really enjoy these little ladies. They've settled well into their routine here on the ranch and always let me know when it's time for their evening snack :) Their names are:
Admiral (the mallard)
Gunner (the khaki campbell)
First Mate (the call duck shown in this picture, I call her Marley for short)
And Gunner (the call duck with white spots)
I'll be posting more duck pictures soon!
Hi Monday. Celebrating a little victory today because my work mentor has been out on vacation for the last 3 days and I've been operating solo! Needless to say, I've been a little nervous but very proud when I do get something properly installed. I'm gaining confidence and trusting that I can do this 💯
Also, Day 10 of #BackBendBeMyFriend is #wheelpose and I've been comfortable in this for a while now, from years of gymnastics practice. This one will be fun to expand upon and try variations with flattened or raises legs 🤔 I also still sit on my bum to get into this pose so maybe I could practice a backbend to prevent the sandy bottom 🍑
Now, please tell me a little victory you guys are having, I'd love to hear ❗️Also, big thanks again to @aloyoga For sponsoring this #yogachallenge And to all of the hosts for spreading their knowledge!!
