Let's just say wiring isn't my specialty, before I visited Matt @offgridengineering I had a bit of a spaghetti factory going on under my hood. Last week while on my way back from Colorado I visited Matt, we decided it was time to redo my accessory wiring. Matt and I chose to replace my old dual battery system with one of his custom built ones, along with doing a starter battery relocate kit. After a few long days of work we had it all finished, the finished product is insane, it looks better than factory. If your interested in a dual battery system please go check out @offgridengineering they make some of the best custom electrical systems on the market. Look for a full review on my website soon 👌🏼
It's camping season again and that means I'll be out sleeping under the stars. It also means I get to try out some new gear. One of the new things in particular that I'm stoked about this year is a new sleep system, the Zenbivy. This forward thinking design is just what I have been looking for, gone are the days of slipping off my mat at night. Watch for them dropping on Kickstarter on the 30th. Check their page for more details. @zenbivy #zenbivy#zenbivybag#sleepfreestyle
After a phenomenal climb over night on Mt Hood, we were the first to summit this morning through the Pearly Gates. The weather was a bit warm and snow pack was slightly sketchy which caused all other groups to turn around at the large crevasse known as the Bergschrund on the route. However, after assessing our options and considering turning around ourselves, we carefully pressed onwards, and in doing so we were rewarded with an incredible climb. This picture was taken as we were descending the mountain after our successful summit bid. Despite the slightly warm weather, everything else was perfect.
Heat lightning is beautiful but it is also dangerous. I always enjoy watching these stormclouds roll across the land bringing much needed rain. The rain then helps the crops continue to grow. It also brings out the green in all of the surrounding plant life. What may seem gloomy to some is actually a blessing thats freely given to us.
Today I decided to go on a nice little hike with my dogs on my day off. Well, it turned into a 12 mile hike in which I got lost, I cried(more than once), I was scared for my life and for my dogs' lives, and I thought I was never going to make it home again. But here I am sitting at home alive and well and feeling pretty silly about the whole ordeal. 😂 Hope everyone had a great Monday!
Took a "quick" detour to Sedona on my way back home from the #cpsda conference in Scottsdale. Was lucky enough to experience a beautiful sunset on top of Cathedral Rock all to myself (and even luckier that someone came up 5 minutes later to snap my pic)!!! 🌄 #cathedralrock
Last night 16 year old me screamed the break up songs by @maydayparadeband that got me through them. 7 years ago I saw @maydayparadeband at warped tour and couldn't see all their set bc the thing I was dating at the time didn't want to. Last night def made up for it 😭❤️
