Have you enjoyed the Bible Study lessons we've been doing? Great news! @victorychurchnc has now partnered with Right Now Media to offer FREE & UNLIMITED access to thousands of Bible Studies and other content. This is an amazing resource in our mission to become a disciple-building church. If you are a member, you will be receiving an email soon on how to access it. If you do not receive the email by Wednesday, you have either not completed membership classes or given the church your email. You may also want to check your Spam folders. This is a tool that has been remarkable for my personal growth and has gotten great reviews from everyone who has utilized it. Don't overlook it! #Growth#Discipleship#Disciples#Raleigh#Church#Blessings#Study#NC#VictoryChurch#YoungAdults

#Charlotte has ( Quiet Money ) #Raleigh beat as they have 44,000+ . My question is how to get my brand to them.... idk if #PennyHoarder is allowed to solicit their households, but its a good risk to take.
Spent the morning with @gpopsnc soaking up wisdom and receiving good counsel. Thankful for the example he sets and beyond grateful for the time he is willing to spend with me. Everyone should have a George in their life.
One of my favorite things from @solacoffee, and it's a treat when I get to eat it since I'm usually getting my food to go. Granola, blueberries, and oat milk along with my usual oat milk and almond syrup latte. ❤️❤️❤️
Learning about free-shaping behaviors at a trick training class. Free-shaping can be used to build complex behaviors like fetching particular objects. This pup is learning to pick up the toy in this session.
I never imagined "selling" lipstick.
I come from the world of biology and science and corporate. I always knew I wanted to be at home with kids, but in reality financial needs for family come first, always. After I had my Abby (4yo). I knew I was going to have some good quality time at home with her, but that I was going to need to be back at a corporate job or do something part-time after that first year. We needed the money. The subconscious stress was piling on. What I didn't want was the demands and long hours from a job in pharma. What I didn't want was a retail job where I worked weekends or nights or holidays and traded time for $ + limited hourly pay that kept me from my hobbies and family life. The recruiters were calling, my mind was trying to come up with something I cld invent or sell, a business I cld start (time consuming and risky) and I knew retail sales were not the answer. I needed flexibility.
Around this same time, my good friend invited me for wine one night ~3.5 years ago and to watch a quick video (link in profile). I was curious. And then..... Beautycounter completely "had me at hello." Blown away was an understatement. A company with a mission to change laws and educate other women (and men) about something that can impact their health! That cld change the health of my girls too!? Wow! Hmmm... Was this really an option? They were looking for more voices so that they cld shift the unregulated personal care industry to safer and get actual laws passed to protect health. The branding was ah-mazing and they had a gorgeous, aspirational, chic solution with safer products to share. They had a BIG vision to lead the change to better beauty in our country. This was perfect timing. But what if!!?? Was this really a way to create a significant pay check on my OWN terms, with no cheesy sales pitch, just an authentic company (also a #bcorp ), could I really be successful? I didn't have a background in business or sales, I even had tried selling before and just wasn't that successful.... CON'T in comments👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼
