What are your goals for 2017? Can you list 500 things you want to accomplish in your lifetime? Try it. Dream. You'd be surprised what you can do when you work towards a goal. And accomplishing one goal compounds the opportunities for new goals.
You don't have to summit the whole mountain to enjoy the beauty of the valley beneath. Start where you are and look ahead. Pick a point that you can see and make that you goal. Eventually you'll be looking down into the valley amazed of your new perspective.
So it starts now. Mediocrity will only lead to mediocrity. Do something today that will make you better tomorrow. Small changes make a huge difference over the course of a lifetime. ----- #humble#honest#quotes#quotable#fitness#fitnessmotivation#fitfam#gym#gymlife#kindness#quote#motivation#inspiration#begin#now#justdoit#dream#goals#truth#love#work#workout

Most of us have had the experience of tackling some dreaded task only to come out the other side feeling invigorated, filled with a new sense of confidence and strength. The funny thing is, most of the time when we do them, we come out on the other side changed and often wondering what we were so worried about or why it took us so long. We may even begin to look for other tasks we've been avoiding so that we can feel that same heady mix of excitement and completion. [more] http://bit.ly/2nJaZBq #DailyOM#quotes#comfortzone
A Life Shaped Through Tragedies:
For many success has come into our lives due to the extreme amount of pain & hurt that we feel inside. We look for an outlet. Something we can control. Something we can hold on to because it seems like everything is being constantly ripped from our grasp. We look for something, anything that no one can take away. (I'm being completely open today with you... please excuse me) This is one reason I turned to fitness over 10 years ago. I did not know how to deal with the pain, the negative thoughts, and how to live with a broken heart from losing a loved one who was shot in the head. Completely pointless! Over something so stupid! It still haunts me daily. The killer- got 15 years on a plea bargain and with good behavior will be out in probably a year or two. Since then I've been running. Running from the negative thoughts. Running from the pain. From the images. Trying to escape them. Bodybuilding is one thing I have complete control over. I can control my eating to grow. I can control my training to grow. I can plug in my music in my ears and run from the terrible sound I hate so much called silence. I can work. I can grind. I can be at peace as I put my body under immense stress. All of us live with a certain amount of pain. I'm convinced it will never go away. Even the Apostle Paul in Romans 9:2 said, "I have great heaviness & continued sorrow in my heart." Even an Apostle of God felt heaviness constantly. It's not about overcoming the pain. Rather we must learn to live with it & try to make something positive from it.

Sometimes you wish for silly things because deep down they mean that much to you.
And when it comes to you, my love, I'd do anything - legal and otherwise, to make you mine. // I've never wanted anything as badly as I want you // Art by @raj_arts
You're tagged because I want you to write something silly, yet meaningful to yourself. I'd love to read it ❤
