For me, living a healthy lifestyle is about balance. I recently got back from a trip with family filled with eating and more eating. At first, my mind was telling me that I should probably chill lol. But at the same time, food is a part of what brings my family and I together. I used to be so worried whenever I would eat something that wasn't considered "healthy". Now, I feel fulfilled feeding and treating my body well, even if that means indulging whenever I feel like it. Listen to your body, make conscious decisions, and enjoy life 💁🏻
Typical Monday work! I can finally see my belts when I choose to wear them instead of a curtain of flab dangling over them; I can also wear a size lower than I was before. Week 22 Day 1
Had a Pilates day with my trainer. We also took my progress pictures. Not much progress from last month (maybe even a little set back), but I also was on vacation first half of June and haven't eaten as good as I should nor had the motivation to get back into my workouts. But that's changing this week. I've already cut down on butter and gonna cut down on sugar also. But my progress from the start is still pretty good and I'm proud of how far I've come. I'm not where I want to be and certainly not 100% happy in my body yet. But I'm also very pleased where I'm at now.
KICKBOXING!!!! Stellar night tonight, closer to 500 calories during the hour workout which makes me happyyyyyy! Still having a hard time getting in the red but I'm really thinking it's because my resting rate is so low. so I'm gonna give myself a pass on that. ha!
Are you one to always feel like you need dessert?? There are healthier options that can satisfy your sweet tooth! This combination is plain Greek yogurt (with a dash of Splenda for flavor), a banana, and chocolate oats, topped with some cinnamon. Does the trick for me!

Explosive db pushies
Archer push-up db rollouts
L-sit hold and flippers
Db goblet squats
superset: pull-up burpees
Knees -> feet -> tuck jump
Burpee box jumps
When I post these box jumps (ninja box jumps 😜) peeps always ask how to do them. Break it down, yo.
Start by practicing knees -> feet and reeepeat. When you feel stable, add the tuck jump. When this feels comfortable, add the box; start with a low one and increase height #boompow 💥
ALSO I confuse people every time I wear these @womensbest pants #soweee . They're the black and white ones; they just look navy on me because the fabric is stretched and they have a white lining that shows through (which I really like tbh 😝). I wear an xs for anyone wondering (they're thuper thmooth and stretchy).
