Packing up the rest of my house and moving to our new place tomorrow. It has been such a long wait to finally have our own space but it's been worth it. Really excited to see what the future has for @ayymccrea and I 💕
"She is a paradox, she is faithful and yet detached. She is committed and yet relaxed. She loves everyone, and yet no one. She is sociable and yet a loner. She is gentle and yet tough. She is passionate and yet platonic. In short, she is predictable, in her unpredictability" #freespirit
It is in nature that I can truly experience the reality of life and death. Nature doesn't try to avoid its changes . Nature prepares for them.
When I set out on a path I know that no matter what it can never be exactly like it was before .
A flower that was once in full bloom, may now be descending and bowing down to the next flowers turn.
A new insect 🐜 crossing the path before my feet , as another lay there lifeless and returning to the earth.
A new birds song echoing in the canyons. A mild breeze and the blazing sun beating down on the dirt path creating an intoxicating smell of warmth.
Although I may have been on this path before, I know that with each visit I have the ability to change course. Just like the old metaphor's say ... you can tread upon the beaten path ... flat and groomed or you may chose to make your own.
In nature these metaphors are no longer metaphors they are truth.
I can find the path that serves me.
Last night I may or may not have had a break down after getting in a fender bender on the freeway when I was headed to a shoot (which resulted in cancelling said shoot), then coming home and accidentally deleting my ENTIRE WEBSITE and having to start over from scratch. 😅😩 Running low on sleep and positivity right now, so give me allll the good vibes please n thanks. 🙌🏼
Also: obviously my website is down for the time being, so please be patient as I try to get it back up and running! ❤️
I've lived in Central Oregon for like 3 years now and this was only the second time I've been here.
I picked up 5+ plastic waterbottles directly below the first viewpoint 👎 Also a ton of garbage all over the parking lot, could have spent all day picking it up. Next time you go hiking do the world a favor and pack out some trash 🗑
It's not quite the beach I have become accustomed to over the last 4 months in Asia, but I can't complain.
If you look closely, you will see all the stones that get stacked on top of each other along this part of the shore 🍁
