In New York I spoke with a gallery owner about some rare photographies in a gallery of Marylin Monroe from a movie right before she passed away. I commented on the perfect body of Marilyn Monroe and my complete admiration of her shapes. The gallery owner wrinkled his forehead and replied "she's not perfect, she was plum." I was shocked and confused by his comment and replied "the perfect is the imperfect, there is nothing perfect about perfect. The perfect is boring and without real life substance, which has nothing to do with nature. This is what makes her so hypnotizing, dreamy and admirable. She is so much more than perfect, she is an actual person." The gallery owner thought I had an interesting perspective.
