#ramadantentproject#iftar in the wake of yesterday's hate crime and subsequent murder of two heroic individuals I attended the Ramadan Tent Project's interfaith Iftar dinner in Tigard. Iftar is a communal dinner to celebrate the breaking of a month-long fast meant to strengthen your belief in Allah, God, creator, etc. (you can only eat and drink when the sun is set). It was really hard for me to keep from crying during the event because I'm overjoyed that people are still willing to stand up for inclusion and safety. Proud to be a human today and mourning the loss of two slain good samaritans #salaamalaikum#peacebeuponyou

Jika engkau mempunyai masalah
Kuatkan semangat. Kata nak jalan seiringan ke syurga Allah 💕. InsyaAllah
Ya Allah Yang Maha Hidup Lagi Maha Mengurus segala makhluk. . Kepada Engkau sajalah aku memohon pertolongan. Oleh itu perbaikilah semua urusanku, dan janganlah Engkau biarkan aku walau untuk seketika

Asalamaliakom.. I have a question for both muslims and non muslims, in your opinion what is the most important thing in Islam?
I think that most of your answers will be The simple activities that muslims do daily / annually.
Like praying, fasting, giving charity and such.
But that's not the answer (at least not what I think). Lets just look at the word "Islam",
It comes from the Arabic word "salam" which means peace.
go see the first word I wrote, "Alsalamalikom" or "peace be upon you" is what muslims greet each other with, all we wish for each other (and of course the rest of the world) is peace.
So how can you say that the most important thing in Islam is these activities and not being peaceful and having good manners?
Even the prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) said: "I was sent to perfect honourable manners." Worshiping Allah is not just praying and fasting.
So this year unlike last year I will tell you how to behave like a real muslim.
1 first thing let's talk about the picture I just posted.
How could you be rewarded for a simple smile?
The prophet (pbuh) said: "smiling in your brother's face is charity.." This simple act in human nature is a charity so imagine what other good acts is charity?
The rest of the qoute says it "So is enjoying good and forbidding evil, giving directions to a lost traveller, aiding the blind and removing obstacles from the path"
Do good, smile more. It's charity!
2 it might sound surprising but did you know that my mom once told me not to step on an ant on purpose.
She told me that kiling a soul with no right is haram (forbidden) and that includes every soul (there are exceptions that you might want to search for)
If killing an ant is not allowed then imagine Killing a human being?
It's one if the biggest sins that a human could ever commit.
Proof: [And do not kill the soul which Allah has forbidden, except by right] AlIsraa _33 [ whoever kills one soul it is as if he had killed all mankind] almaida_32
it clearly says that Islam is against every and any attacks on humans.
There are many other subjects that I would love to talk about soon.
Hopefully I will.
