Maybe I should post up a carousel of all the remaining pictures I took in Rep. of Macedonia - my uploads seem like I took one month off to fuck around there. Though I am mighty impressed with the number of places I visited in a mere three days lmao.
So. This is up a fort that was destroyed and the locals left it like this. The hike up here was insane. Basically - nothing here is built for tourism. The hiking route was windy and steep and frustratingly awesome in some way because everywhere you go, you're guaranteed to see nobody else (unlike the Forbidden City in Beijing where you are literally forbidden from entering because there are 20,000 people in the queue before you). _________________
Once I got up, the view was, well. You can see it here. I was transported back to medieval times. I thought of LotR, maybe GoT too. Nobody ever comes here. And that's probably why I chose to go to Rep. of Macedonia and why I would recommend it to those who are looking for something a bit brazen and off the beaten track.
We went to the park for lunch today. I even went down the slide with Kei. It was so much fun to watch them play. Harmony made friends and Kei meet a boy named Caleb. While the kids played I got to catch up with a friend. I can't wait to spend more afternoons in the park. If anyone wants to meet up let me know! .
