I am not the kind of person that can easily sit in front of a computer in a cubical, or live in a busy city, or shop at malls. I was made to patiently harvest and commune with plants in the sun sweating and smiling all day, and process acorns with friends for hours. I thrive when I live in a place that is feral and untouched. I can patiently seed bead earrings, and weed the garden while eating the weeds.I was born loving tedious , repetitive, rhythmic work. It nourishes me deeply to reach and dance beyond the monotony of daily chores, feeling them as an ancient drum beat, permeating throughout my body, the earth, and the stars. A vibration that keeps me humble, grounded and connected to Mother earths heart. Sewing, praying, processing, grinding, hulling, digging for love, deeper and deeper, back to the beginning. .
💕BIG NEWS💕 Tomorrow I will be announcing the release date for my long-awaited Abstract Collection✨ I have really given the paintings in this collection the space they needed to develop because it has been such a new body of work for me to create and explore💜 Knowing me I'll probably paint a couple more pieces for the collection before the release🙈 but at least you'll know when to expect it now🌸 Can't wait to share🙌🏼 #paigepoppeart#abstractart#ocotillo
