Instead I dug through the boxes in my kitchen and cobbled together some much less exciting protein oats 😞 Now I'm getting geared up for another day of unpacking...yesterday I spent 9 hours unpacking after the movers left but at least I could crash on my incredible bed instead of the floor 🙌🏻 • • • • • •

• Oats two ways for breakfast before work. First zoats (oats with shredded zucchini) and protein powder with peanut butter, raspberries, and m&ms for a touch of color. Second, regular protein oats with peanut butter, cinnamon, raspberries, and semi-sweet chocolate chips. Both perfectly okay choices and both made my tummy and heart happy --> using macros everything fits and I don't feel guilt about anything I eat!! •
Knee has been busted for a few days and now my ankle (on the same dang side) has been killing me. Time to dial in the nutrition more while I take it a little easier.
I swear, it's all those darn squats with Aiden. Kid is putting on weight EVERY DAY. It'll be crazy to see how much his vitals have changed when we go in for his 4 month appointment!
Well I finally gave the overnight oats thing a try.
It is soooo good. I went with the lower cals...adjusted a few ingredients with others that i liked. Im hooked, I needed something to give me me a break from eggwhites...lol
I could only eat half so brought the other half to work for mid morning snack.

One #quote stuck with me: "Wouldn't it be a shame to have a wonderful life and not notice it?" - Michael Neill.
I tend to get caught up in the future & am really working on being more present and grateful. (Something tells me I'm not the only one!) It's so easy to get caught up in future plans & dreams, and to say I'll be happy when.. Don't get me wrong; goals and dreams are important. But it's also important to truly appreciate the beauty of our present!
