"What is 1st Phorm?" I get asked this after I make recommendations, when people see the supplements I use, and the clothes I wear.
What is 1stPhorm? The most accurate answer? It's a way of life.
It's being part of a culture, part of a legion of people who proactively seek to better themselves, to lift others up. Who are human beings that stumble, get back up, dust themselves off and keep going just like the rest of us. You might see me use the supplements, that's because I bust ass in the gym and I want to feed my body quality along side my food. You might see me wear the clothes. That's because I enforce the life style to never settle, I enjoy spreading that message. (also the shirts are comfy as hell) I work for better, I help others reach better, and I get to interact with awesome people around the world that love the same life style.

The one arm elbow lever, croc, or one arm mayurasana was the first one arm balance I learned and I have been obsessed ever since. Have you started working on or tried this pose yet? .

Here's a little #motivationmonday for you guys.....don't give up!!!! We did a wod today from @crossfitmayhemfreedom that had 26 ring MUs in it!!! I've only ever been able to string 2 together and because of fatigue today I was only getting one at a time and then doing things like just flailing on the rings 😂🤦🏻♀️ lol. It was incredibly frustrating and I of course wanted to quit but when all was said and done I did the whole workout RX and it's the most ring MUs I've ever done!!! Give yourself some credit and look at what you are doing vs what you're not. It may have taken me 27min to do a workout that should take me 6min but I don't even care because I didn't quit! Everyone can relate to having bad experiences in life, but not everyone works to turn the bad experiences into good ones. That is possible only when we turn our losses into learning experiences. You just have to remember that bad experiences are bad only if we fail to learn from them and good experiences are almost always a result of previous bad experiences.
If you find yourself in a bad experience, one of the first things I try to do is determine if the bad experience is a result of ignorance or stupidity. Ignorance means that I didn’t have the necessary knowledge to do the right thing. A person can hardly be blamed for that. Stupidity is the result of knowing what to do but not acting upon that knowledge.
Bad experiences based on ignorance require learning. If you have a teachable spirit, not only can you stop a bad experience from getting worse, you can make it better. On the other hand, bad experiences based on stupidity usually come from lack of discipline and poor choices. Changing those requires not only teachability but also a change in behavior. If you don’t make those changes, the bad experiences will likely keep coming and keep getting worse.
As you face bad experiences, it’s important for you to remember that you can rarely see the benefits while you’re in the midst of trouble. You usually gain perspective on the other side of it. You just have to be willing to try and learn.
