It can be distracting to work out at home, but you know what I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm here where my family needs me, I got all the benefits from the work out just the same in my living room or at a gym! ---

When people ask me how long I've been on my fitness journey, it's hard to answer. I honestly feel like I spent 2.5 years stumbling through my journey with half ass commitment, poor nutrition, and googling what I was doing with my workouts 🤷🏻♀️

Great way to start the day!!!
Up at 5am, in the office at 5:15, reading my personal development and getting my mind set at 5:30, workout started at 5:45, and I am DONE with my workout for the day! T25 has a doubles Friday...but I do that one on Saturday because ....
A. I don't have the extra 25minutes I t he morning to get it done ⌚️ B. I would rather workout 6 days a week. 💪🏼
C. It is actually written in the program that is you can't do two on Friday so the other on Saturday 😊 .
Follow the program folks! They are written to MAXIMIZE your results! Have you ever started a workout program and said "ugh well that didn't work!! I'm never doing that again!" And then when you sit back and think about it you skipped two-three days of workouts a week and didn't stick to the nutrition plan AT ALL! That's what happens when you don't have he support from others doing the programs with you I KNOW because THAT ⬆️ was me 🙈!!! .
Make sure you find something you love to do, put your EVERYTHING into it, follow the program to a T, and get support from an online group, best friend, family member ...Simone who is going to motivate you and encourage you to keep going!

Today's run felt pretty good, I explored a nearby neighborhood more (aka house stalking!) ran some rolling hills, and my stride felt better after doing Piyo yesterday but I still gave my hip flexor a good stretch post run. 3 more runs left until my half!
Have tight hips? Kneel with one leg at 90 degrees, the other directly under your hips. Squeeze your glutes, keep your torso straight and shift your weight forward. Hold for 30 seconds on each side and repeat 3-5 times. You should feel the stretch on the front of your thighs and even up your abdomen.

@shauntfitness always reminds us to DIG DEEP! I never did this 2 years ago because I was always so focused on how HARD it was. I focused on the pain, the sweat, told myself over and over "I can't do this!" "It's too hard!" This round I've been EXTRA focused on keeping my head on straight and keeping my thoughts positive and affirmative. It makes a HUGE difference!!! In our Fit Tribe today we all shared 10 things we love about OURSELVES! It was a challenge, for some of us more than others. But self love and positive self talk is SO important to success!

👉🏽Breaking the fast at 2pm! (not my usual time)😋with my properly portioned noms-and yea, I actually USE my containers to measure my foods! It takes like 2 seconds!✌🏼NBD! Ever heard of INTERMITTENT Fasting? 🤷🏻♀️ I have been working on intermittent fasting the last 2 months and it really does work well for my body! 👙When I stray from it I get bloated AF for a while until I reel myself back in! I eat ALL my DAILY food within a shortened time frame-8 hours for me🤘🏼 today 2pm- 10pm!⌚️ Typically I stick to 11am-7 pm. I was nervous to talk about it publicly because I realize there a too many haters and misunderstandings about the whole thing.🖕🏼 But as a coach when something works GREAT for me- I share it, right?!💁🏻 When you like a brand, song, food- you share that 💩. SO WHY NOT? 🤷🏻♀️I just don’t think there is ONE way that works best for everyone! Don’t be thinking too much into it—YOU fast EVERY DAMN DAY from the time you go to sleep 🛌until you wake up in the AM! ⏰ Hence why it is called BREAK FAST! 🤔 I still eat ALL my daily food container portions-which is quite a bit because I have GOALS of #gains ✊🏼 but it is only within that 8 hour window! 🥙🥗🥝🍏🍓🍆🍕So what I am doing is DAILY fasting for 16 hours out of the day! 🤗 What I know from my research: 👉🏽It takes about 6-8 hours(at least) for your body to go through its glycogen, sugar and carb stores-😩if you are constantly eating THAT often, then you are never allowing your body to go through its fat stores. 🤔That 16-18 hour window allows your body to do what it is supposed to do and USE that fat instead of letting it sit there! 🙌🏼 I don’t restrict my intake from a 12 hour eating day to a 8 hour eating day-so not eating less! ✊🏼 What I like about IF: 👉🏽I FEEL better when I don’t eat before my workout-cause I workout in the AM. I had to build up to it-just a new learned habit. Started with 10 hours, 9, then 8. I have less of a chance of mindless snacking (🙋🏻I am a snacker-or muncher?😹) I LOVE to be able to gorge on a HUGE plate of food AND STILL get results! 👀I still have a bit of food left to eat for the day! Which is OK with me! 👌🏼Next online accountability group starts5/8
