What is it about kozhikode beach? Is it the broken sea bridge, the dirty sand, the murky water? Is it the tiny seagulls lazing around, the salty breeze or the beautiful sunset? Is it the hundred families flocked around, the local savouries, the screaming children and friendly vendors? Is it the feeling of being completely one with the universe while standing at the edge of the sea with the waves gushing at your feet?
For whatever reason, this place continues to draw me in. On a lazy Sunday afternoon, or a busy Saturday evening, a weekday morning or a holiday twilight, this beach is my solace.
Belgium chocolate pudding•
Belgium chocolate pudding served with sour n spicy sauce. Something close to lava cake but different too. Loved the sauce(chilli rasberry) with cake so much that we end up asking for more sauce everytine we have it A must try!
Restaurant- Brown Town bakery and cafe
This home-grown beautiful basket of guavas and rose apples is what made my Saturday morning when we reached our parents' home in Calicut, Kerala. For the North Indians, rose apple or bell fruit is a tangy apple that's common in Southern India and is known as Chambakka in Malayalam. I've seen it for the first time in my life. So I guess I'm lucky that am living the 2 states life with @rohitraghavan 😉 To many more new experiences to come! 🍻
I've always wanted to live in a cottage surrounded by lush green garden full of self sustained food supplies, vegetables plants and fruit trees with animals and birds claiming their homes amongst them. Our home in Calicut reminds me so much of the first one I've ever lived in with huge backyard with all kinds of trees. Sigh. I wish I could someday live that life again, away from the concrete jungle. . .
And this makes my longest post ever. Major #mondayblues plus #mondaymotivation ! 🤓😏 #kozhikode#my_kozhikode#kerala#incredibleindia#greenandred#nature#lovenature
