Transformation Tuesday.... Many of you see a girl who lost a lot of weight but it goes way deeper.
17 years ago that was me. Overweight, depressed, severe migraines, popping tons of pills to try and take my pain away.
Many ups n downs, many different doctors.
Do you know that only one doctor out of them all asked me about my nutrition which was 8 years ago, Dr. Trupti Gokani, but my mindset wasn't ready for that. I was looking for another pill to take. I definitely needed help.
I went to work with a smile on my face every day but I couldn't wait to get home and go to bed because I was severely depressed.
I knew my life needed to change or I wouldn't survive much longer.
I made my first change 7 years ago, then another 4 years ago and then the biggest one in April 2014 which saved my life!
I found personal development, a nutrition shake they gave me my energy and smile back, people who pushed me to change my mindset, I found my PURPOSE!
I truly believe that everything happens for a reason because if I never said yes to this opportunity I would not have my mindset right for what happened to Taylor last year. I would not be a good role model or a good advocate for my children.
After 3 years we created a movement. A group of women who uplift, support and motivate each other!

Looking at the picture on the left, I remember not being truly happy with who I was. I knew I had to make a change to better my health, so I did.
Don't ever regret your past, it made you who you are today. No surgery, no waist trainer, and definitely no photoshop. 🚫 The pixels in the second picture may look really bad but I promise you it's because of how much I zoomed the picture in.
My fitness journey started as a struggle and it has now turned into a passion. I've taken responsibility for my health and have made myself my top priority! Trust me when I say you have to be extremely patient with yourself as well as being consistent and determined. I literally remember crying to myself all the time during my journey and looking in the mirror and weighing myself almost everyday wondering why am I not losing weight. Trust the process. I promise you it's worth it. I get so many DMs all the time asking for tips and asking how I did. Get up and get to moving! Find yourself a healthy lifestyle you can't stick to forever🍏, workout, rest😴, find your balance with foods that have little to none nutrients and enjoy life in a balance, healthy, and happy way!!! That's how I've been able to stay consistent and dedicated. I really hope this helps someone out there that is wanting to start their fitness journey, whether it is to lose weight or gain weight. Have a positive mindset and just start. The glutes can become one of the strongest muscle groups in the whole body if you train them properly. Incorporating hypertrophy movements AND heavy lifting is what's really going give you the gains
My favorite hypertrophy movements are:
-Donkey Kicks -Fire Hydrants -Kickbacks
My favorite way heavy lifts for glutes:
-Straight Leg Deadlifts
This is the look of drive and determination. When you let nothing get in the way of your goals, and persevere through the ups and downs.
This is the look of self-belief, in which no amount of nay-sayers can detract from the vision and knowing you gave it everything you had.
I don't just utilize these thoughts in my training, but in everything I do. It has taken me a long time to get to this point, and it has never been easy, but it has absolutely been worth it.
These 3 qualities: drive, determination, and self-belief, can turn dreams into reality. Never sell yourself short for the goals you have, or your ability to reach them. Don't let anyone tell you that you can't do it, the only person that can stop you, is you. Give it everything you have, and never give up.
