Even in my first trimester I worked out, took it easy because that of course is a very sensitive stage. But was very consistent in my 2nd trimester. 3rd trimester I slowed down a bit, mostly because in between softballs games (my oldest was playing at the time) and her practices, her school events and wife duties I was really tired. Not to mention I had to take it easy because I was at risk of going into labor early like I did with my first daughter. I did do a lot of stretching, yoga really helped with aches and pains as my body grew. And swimming I loved being in the water while I was pregnant. During the last trimester even though I had really slowed down on going to the gym I walked a lot. From previous experience I learned staying active during my pregnancy made my labor easier and the recovery process. So if your pregnant stay active. I was able to get back to working out after 4weeks of having her. I love him 😍 -
About 4 months ago, we decided that we were tired of struggling to find time to talk and be in the Word and pray together. After Ty gets home from work he is exhausted (rightfully so), and usually that's my most productive time of day anyway. So instead, we decided to just start waking up early together. We've started getting up at 6, which gives us two whole hours before Ty leaves for work. The bi product has been amazing, and we've ended up with some good habits simply because the morning is quiet. We've been reading the Word, praying, laughing, drinking really good coffee and we both noticed an uptick in our moods and productivity throughout the day. Try it! Mornings are amazing! I never thought I was a morning person, but once your body adjusts, anyone can get up early. Now I crave that time together with Jesus and I miss it when I don't get it. -
