You're not in my shoes.
I just brain this phrase during the long 9km walk to camp5.
People would only see the physical of the shoes, clean or muddy, new or faded.
They wouldn't know what happened to the feet inside the shoes in striving to reach the destination.
Which at that time, i had blisters, soreness, tired feet and sweating profusely.
Event the next shoes was the same price and materials, the feeling or problems would be different.
"What's the matter? You're afraid of me? But I'm just a girl- in my place. Isn't that what you said... I belong in the kitchen? Well hear I am, with the spoons the forks and the knifes... why shouldn't I use them?"
"Mai, in tutta la mia vita, dimenticherò ciò che sei stato per me. Mi hai accolta distrutta e mi hai restituita alla vita. Su questa piccola terra, dove potrei posare lo sguardo senza vederti?" .
Una perla più unica che rara, letta tutta d'un fiato, che lascia un'impronta.

Uploading my masked monologue from theatre 4 to my YouTube right now! Link in my bio! This monologue is pretty crazy dramatic, and to be honest I improved a lot of it, but I still think it's cool to look back at it and learn from myself 👍🏼🔪💉🎭
