#MMD has been busy finalizing our plans for this upcoming #MemorialDay . #America is forgetting about the sacrifices out troops made during #WW2 , and the Bataan Death March is one of them. We will be traveling to the #Philippines this year, and putting ourselves in the footsteps of those #POW s so nobody forgets the challenges they faced. This year is the 75th anniversary, and there aren't many #veterans of our greatest generation left. Help us show them we care. GoFundMe link to help us create a film in profile.

Am I crazy or do we need to start thinking about Memorial Day and 4th of July outfits?! 🇺🇸 I have this great glitter fabric that could be used for anything in my shop!
I personally think it would be adorable for a tulip top and matching bloomers! 😍
Do you have an unservicable flag that needs proper disposal? The Scurry County Museum is currently serving as a collection point for such flags. We will hand the flags off to the American Legion Post 181 here in Snyder for their flag disposal ceremony that will be held for #memorialday (event time TBD).
Estimated to date from 1900-1920, this photograph is a bit of a #mystery to us. It is from the #snyder area but we can only guess what class and occasion this was. The adult in the back has a sash that reads "Goddess of Li[berty?]" If anyone knows more, leave us a comment please!
#didyouknow guidelines call for flags to only be flown from sunrise to sunset, unless they are properly illuminated at nighttime.
