We love these two!!! Can't wait for their wedding in a couple of weeks!! 😍😍😍 sometimes we just need to get up close and intimate with our couples... or have a longer lens and pretend like we are right there!
There are so many great things about being an adult but I'd argue that the ability to drink a glass of wine per bathroom you clean is right up there with the best of them.

Every wedding is full of details that are special to the bride and groom...a favorite color or flower, a song with special meaning, cakes that reflect their personalities...but Ashley and Dustin's wedding had the extra special touch of being made by friends and family.
While they said their vows under a gorgeous Texas sky at @mercuryhall those same loved ones cried happy tears and cheered them on during epic dance-offs and the loveliest toasts...more of their happiness and story up on the blog tonight! Max Strom, one of my favorite yoga teachers, says that the secret of happiness is finding "meaning" in life, so if we think about it, happiness can come from very different sources depending on who you are. While we're in the process, enjoy what makes you happy and let others enjoy what makes them happy, and always be kind!
I took another look and re-edited these photos from last year at one my favorite sessions ever. Never stop learning! Thanks @staygoldanngosser for letting me practice on Maybellene and always encouraging me to chase my dreams! 🌈
I have not a clue about what was going on behind me, but whatever it was created these expressions and that's really all that matters. ||| Currently working on a blog of Meredith and Josh's wedding while simultaneously consuming some Ben and Jerry's. Because there was a clearance sale on their fro yo at target and I didn't hold back.
So why are conditioned as little children that water should be depicted as blue? We are taught early on that we should see in mutually agreed upon ways - sit criss cross apple sauce, only speak when called upon, follow the line leader, etc...
I still remember one specific instance when my kindergarten class had a Halloween coloring contest in which we had to color a giant cutout of a witch. I wanted to make mine the best in the class; I spent hours intricately coloring in my witch, making sure not to color outside the lines.... when I finished I looked around the class and I was the ONLY one in the class that did not color my witch black - mine was purple (obviously the coolest color out there) with intricate designs all over her dress. Then I remember the teacher scolded me for not following the directions. I guess I've always danced to the beat of my own drum. Don't be afraid to standout!
These three left me to go back to Texas today and I'll probably hold it over their heads for the rest of their lives. But I'm also jealous. Because I miss Texas. But mostly happpppy, I guess, if they are happy. ;) I'll miss them and also miss being the crazy aunt that kisses her nephews cheeks all the time. 😭
