It's a bit late notice but I thought I'd put it out there! I'm heading to Mt Paluma on the weekend and I thought it would be a great opportunity to meet up with anyone wanting to take insect/wildlife/landscape shots. I was thinking of an afternoon that could turn into nightspotting and if anybody is super keen but lives a couple of hours drive away, my property is at the base of the Paluma range... I have a fire pit and heaps of grassed area for anybody to pitch a tent/van/swag for the night! I also have a billion frogs that love their photo being taken haha. If I don't get any interest for this weekend but interest in general I can move the INSTAMEET to a later date to give people time to get here and be prepared to camp ect.....anywho! 😊🏕🌲🐜🕷📷
This place is incredible! I persuaded Josh to anchor us in Mosquito Lagoon for the night, instead of carrying on up to New Smyrna Beach, so that we could enjoy some nature time. We'll go explore in the dinghy in a bit, but even right here on the boat we are seeing amazing stuff. This guy is currently taking a rest on our dinghy. He's huge - 4" wing span. I never thought I'd use the macro setting on the Sony RX1R but sure enough, I'm so happy to have it. We've also seen a ray and a bunch of jelly fish, and Josh caught a few trout (not big enough to keep though).
Macros and bottle shots ✨
